there is a fibromyagia website that will put ya in touch with people that will HELP you file a disability claim..I have lots wrong with me too. but decided to not file disability until I cant find ANYTHING to do. its seems most people and buisnesses after they work your body down feel THATS THE SKIDS KID...so sorry..NEXT... I feel for ya it took them 20 years to catogorize IBS as a disease..I known it all along if something flares up then subsides thats the first caracteristic of a disease. People still go to work sick knowing that the person beside ya may have a extremely compromised immune system. Are ya getting Army Benefits at all IF not FIGHT THEM TOO ! just collecting a paycheck WTF ! you probally put yourself in harms way MORE than ONCE...OH BOB...psst...psst...this is what IMA talking about...lots of chim shamming going on... this is something I learned over the years..APPLYING FOR A JOB...call all the lawyer offices and check how many represent that company BEFORE ya Take the JOB...its a lesson Ive learned over the years..if a company has more than a dozen law offices in the area on thier payroll somethings Running a MUCK a MUCK I say with thier buisness practices...look for lawyers dear that will do it probono...that worked for me and also have the lawyer CALL THEM if they taunt and chastize him like in my case with a news station they will do it just to shove alittle back in thier faces..they have sure changed thier tune since then ~

I'm so sorry you're going through this Shawn. I don't blame ya for trying to get your story out there to Kid...maybe your story will be brought to someones attention out there that can get ya the help you need. I wish you the best....

I have ZERO to do with the military & never have. But quite honestly they are screwing you without the KY. Next keep going to doctors through the VA to go after your disability benefits. THEY diagnosed you then threw you out. WRONG, they made you disabled they should take care you with medical benefits, a disability check, money towards and education if you so desire etc. I got a nephew in law that fought them and won. DO NOT STOP. They fucked you up they are supposed to take care of you. I have seen ppl get disability for being alcoholics from the military lord knows someone who was injured like you have been should be in front of them.

NEXT, your wife. I agree for better or worse she should be standing by you not bailing on you. And taking your son with her? Do you @ least get to visit without a bunch of nonsense? I would hope so. She needs to get her head on right. You don't bail on someone when the chips are down. You stick with them and help them through it. Glad you got parents that will help you though.

NEXT you shouldn't have to beg Kid Rock or anybody else for help. People in the military should be lining up to help you. And not hesitating. I am not pro military i am pro AMERICAN. Our guys deserve a lot better then they will probably ever get. I have seen junkies come back from war. The military gives them a fat sign on and turns them into addicts, then dumps them. I did all i could to hook him up with rehab working the ER as i do as a nurse.

DO NOT stop going and being tested and reaffirming your diagnosis. Go after all the paperwork necessary and fight for what is right!

IT may not be apparent but if nothing else you will attain more peace in your life. I turn a lot over to God and let him handle things. He does it better on a bad then i could do on my best day. Well here goes me trying to help again. I usually just f*** things up more. Wife's at her Mom with your son and your at your parents. That's not good. Sounds like you got a raw deal from US Army. I was a Military Brat. Real father was a Marine (bad conduct discharge) and step father was Navy (20 years retired). Never serving myself I can't say I know first hand what the US Govt. is capapable of but I've heard plenty of stories. Fibromhyalgia and PTSD both or things that are hard to understand unless you've been through them yourself. Govt. is going to stone wall you and never take any responsibilty. So as hard as it is now that the damage is done you have to concentrate on what's important. Taking care of you and your family situation. First thing that comes to mind is that wife needs to stand by her man. Especially now when you need her and your boy around. Army life is behind you. Good riddens. Now you have a chance to make something. It ain't gonna be easy I know and I'm not trying to make lite but it's all on you. Living with your disorders isn't going to be easy either but what other choice do you have. You've got to overcome. You've got to. F*** the heartless B**** that leaves her man when he needs her. Sorry I know I don't know the rest of the story or her side but a good wife (person) stays by her man. Thick and thin. Since you are a man of God and he knows us best the best advice I can give is pray. Everything is possible with God. Pray every morning, noon and night. When a man and a woman are joined in marriage it's a union before God never to be divided. Get your family back. Educate yourself the best you can on your medical issues and take every step you can to deal with them. Keep reaching out for help. Even if it's just to talk when there's no one there who will listen. Get your Son and Wife back. I hope I didn't f*** things up more.
