    Nashvegas show 02/15/13
    ajay says (17 Feb '13)

Well i went and it was a great show. Loved Buckcherry. I could tell many ppl around me weren't getting them, they were there for Kid Rock. Buckcherry is a different blend bit more rock/pop etc. I thought by ppl's responses maybe they were blowing ass, turns out they are wrong. Nothing like seeing them in Pop's in Sauget or a smaller place as they can crank it up and shake the rafters. It is reminscent of the Goldie Hawn movie they were in...The Banger Sisters.

Hellbound Glory was okay. Lots of cussing and angst. Not really my cup of tea @ this time, but hey we were all once 22 ya know? I guess i can say i am starting to fill my age when the young rebel makes me laugh a bit and they did. They got potential to do something and be a decent band, but will they?

Kid came on about 15 minutes ahead of schedule. Can't really bitch about that. The Twisted Brown Trucker Band was tight as a crabs ass in the middle of winter. I only wish i had won one of those meet and greets and had a little better seats. I was section 4 row 8. THEY were good i just would have liked to have been @ least middle of section 1 or 2. I can't really say i can remember the set list. Tried to find it yesterday and the night of on the internet without luck. Course i would always like to hear my favorites, the one he doesn't seem to play that i love is Amen...The song that brought me to Kid Rock. Yes i knew he was around since he first graced the back of my rock mags. I am particular to certain songs. He did some of them, but hey i can't complain. It was an excellent show and well worth my money. Found me a nice tee shirt for $25, god bless my weight loss and good concert tee prices. Also found a cd that the profits went to charity. Watched lame asses pass on it. It is like hey idiot you will pay $12.99 @ Wal Mart, you get a cd, and chance to win a meet & greet are you thick or what? It was cool to see that Marlon Young did get credit for Let's Ride like he was supposed to! Like the matching wood in the video for it too!

I cut out of Nashvegas @ about 20 til midnight. I had a long drive ahead and had to work a 12 hour shift Saturday night. Would have liked to have had Saturday off as well, but i got a better shot of winning the lottery then that happening. Would have liked to have hung out @ Tootsie's for a bit but that place was mobbed. The whole downtown of Nashvegas was a sea of ppl and i was booking. I took one look around and knew Kid would probably blow town and i was not gonna get hung up in that crazy assed mess!

The show is worth your money to make it there! Dunno if i will be able to go to Riverport this summer in St. Louis so @ least i got to see a show on this tour....NOT sure where i will be in my career in medical or if i will be tied up with that more then i want to be with it.

I took some good pics, but without the set list i can't do a proper show review. So those of you on facebook who are friends check them out. Saw a tour photo book that i would have liked to have had but not for $100. Mine are free! So if you wanna see them and snag one that is fine i don't mind. Anyways...if someone runs into the Nashvegas set list post it up or put a link up or something and tell me where it is and i will do a proper review!

Oh btw i danced my ass off and sang most of the way to the show, during the show and on my way home. After eating Martin's badass BBQ in Nolensville i don't feel bad after that work out. It is a wonder i still got a voice! Had some nice ppl to the left of me @ the show and some asshats to the right of me. Talked to the nice folks, ignored the asshats. Why waste my time with assholes. It was crowded and the ppl on the left asked if i would see if the ppl on the right would move down a little. To which the lady said, "No, sorry". Some ppl i just don't get...not like i wanted her seat i had my own ticket and seat. Ah well some ppl are what they are...you can't change them or fix them so i don't confront myself with their crap. Won't let someones asshole attitude ruin my show for me!

Glad you had a good time, Ajay...and you managed not see the inside of a Nashville jail cell lol just kidding, I'll never forget your story ;)
Your pics turned out great, thanks for sharing them :)

Your welcome! So glad i didn't see the inside of a Nashville jail either! I don't have someone ready to bail me out like Kid does!

Here is the link for my facebook concert album : https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.475402185846876.118003.100001312973134&type=1 . I opened up this album so the public can view it, so you all can view it. They are plenty of good photos. Had i been up one section they would have been excellent photos...but such is life!

I was laughing at the crabs ass, too, BB! :) Great one, Ajay! :) I'm glad you had so much fun and got to Martin's for badass BBQ :) Yeah, no time for asshats :) FB pictures sound great and so does the set list, but I promised not to peek so... :( But, sounds like you had a great time and 15 minutes early is awesome! :) Never can get too much of The Man and His Music! :)

The Twisted Brown Trucker Band was tight as a crabs ass in the middle of winter.,.hahahahah thats funny,.I love that band. Was that an official tour photo book? I have low patience for tight croweds and long lines so I didnt view the mechandise.

ajay's picture

It was very crowded! Yeah it was an official photo book. Perhaps i should have my eyes checked. That wonderful over 40's eyes thinks it said photo book? I have low patience too for the lines @ merch booths. I have low tolerance for them so i went to them first. Already had previewed his merchandise via Facebook so i pretty well had it narrowed down to one of two shirts. I bought one and browsed the other merch. Wish my state allowed you to have the Let's Ride license plate! Prices weren't bad either. Was hoping the posters would be $5 with a tee shirt purchase but they weren't so i passed on the poster. Don't really have to have it. Really wanted the shirt, so there you go! After i got mine i looked around and a big crowd had gathered. The lady said they didn't have any bags so i slid half the shirt down the front of my pants. Ain't nobody on God's green earth gonna snatch my shit! I will wind up in jail in Nashvegas after stomping their ass!
