    Keep It Flying!!! America needs to re-educate people that the Southern Cross, Confederate Battle Flag represents FREEDOM. Not a damn thing to do with slavery. Read Lincoln's letters that states" that if he could keep the UNION together without freeing ONE slave he would". It was all about TAXES. The south was very rich. The UNION wanted an increase in Tariffs at the Ports and it was being rejected by the SOUTH!

    STAND your ground.I want people to stop cowering to these groups and the PC. Start calling them on their ignorance of our history.

    Do your own research of actual documents. NOT Dept of Educations liberal biased history books.
    WAKE UP AMERICA before you wake up on the wrong side of the bed and don't know where you are.

As well as read fragments on slavery from July of 1854 that Lincoln wrote. If i have fairer skin then you i can own you. If i have superior intellect i can own you. Where southerners claimed their slaves were treated better then labourers in then north. Which is a big old pile of shit. How can you be treated better then someone who can go home at the end of day? These slaves were housed in shacks, made to breed, beat/whipped, uneducated, etc. Do you really want me to continue? I can show time and again of examples why you are wrong about Lincoln.

Prey tell why do you think he was assassinated? Do you really believe John Wilkes-Booth was crazy? He came from a theatrical family. He sympathized with the Confederates. He was part of a conspiracy to kill Lincoln. He strongly opposed abolition of slavery. They were unsuccessful at killing Andrew Jackson though. William Seward was also attacked by a Booth conspirator Lewis Powell. Seward was stabbed several times, his son Fredrick was beating with a gun that had jammed when he Powell attempted to go back up the steps after Seward, Seward's other son Augustus, a nurse, and union solider were attacked as well. After the attack the stress of it all killed his wife.

So tell me again how it was all about money?

i dont live in the south so i couldnt say how the flag is represented in the south, but to most of us northerners, its no big deal. its just another cool looking design

Somehow i don't buy what you are selling. Yeah the confederate flag isn't about hate. Lincoln was about freedom, that is where you are wrong. Yeah the south was rich.

You need to go google all about Lincoln because you don't know shit. Read Lincoln's reply to Senator Douglas on October 16, 1854 for instance then tell me it was only about money...You really need to delve into Lincoln's letters and start reading. You know not what you speak of. Read any of his letters dealing slavery and i think you will find out how he felt and how he tried to rationalize with the southerners before it all came to pass.
