I hate to hear you've had this crud going around. Everyone we know has had the same thing. We had to take steroids & antibiotics for weeks. We finally got rid of it about a month ago.
We have 4 tickets to your show tonight. I would rather you cancel and reschedule or just cancel. You need more than a day or two to get back to 100%. Been there done that. It's cold and damp here. Just what you don't need. We've never seen your show, and also we've always wanted too. Seen a lot on computer. And we've heard from diffrent folks your fricking awesome! Please reconsider about tonight.
We would rather have you healthy and feeling great than to be fighting off the flu and your lungs with fluid in them. I know doctors treat you diffrent than regular folks, but it just takes time and rest! I have to admit I'm handicapped myself, and the weather has me hurting and feeling like shit. I've got the pills to make me feel good enough to come. I'm going to feel really bad tomorrow.
So please again cancel tonight. I really would like to see you when we're both very great and wanting to rock the house.

Well, I did go to the concert
Well, I did go to the concert in Memphis, TN, Friday night. It was cold as a well diggers butt. I was hurting when I got there and hurting when I left. But you were all right. It was a great show. You could tell he was still sick, he sweated from the first song to the last. But, he was great! A great concert! No bunch of frills just a lot of rock and roll, kickass music. He had to drink a lot of fluids and did a lot of wiping off. Although I felt sorry for him, because I had the same crud he had before. I knew how bad he must be feeling, but he tried not to show it. So when he comes back through I'll be right there with him. Y'all were right.

Gina - If he couldn't perform
Gina - If he couldn't perform to his full potential, he would have canceled. That's not his style. I hope you have the time of your life tonight and I'm sure you won't be feeling any pain during that 2 hour show!
I think Kid is in good shape and has good docs, so I'm sure he recovers quickly. He will have had 3 full days rest by the time the show starts in Memphis. He should be fine.
