    Memphis Memories Part Three:

We decided since we skipped breakfast we would all go down to Beale Street for lunch. Once at Beale St. I was told Kenny wanted to find a restaurant that could seat all of us at one table, saying we were family & families need to sit together. I was also told Kenny wanted the waitress' to be the hottest on Beale St. for Dillon's benefit. Now, I didn't hear Kenny say that, so am simply taking others word for it, haha.

We went to Hooters on Beale St. first...Kenny walked in, took a look around, firmly said, "No"...turned around & all followed him out, haha. We continued our search for the perfect eating establishment, strutting Beale St from restaurant to restaurant checking each out. I don't know how many we, or should say Kenny checked out, haha...but none seemed to meet requirements, lol. He finally looked at Dillon as if surrendering to defeat with finding no restaurant that could do both...seat us all at one table & have hot waitress'. He said to Dillon, it's your call, which place do you wanna eat at. Dillon chose the one we were in front of saying the menu had something on it he really liked. So, in we went & they did seat us at one table.

After lunch we walked across the street to where a Blues band was playing in a courtyard setting. I thought they sounded pretty good. They had a man walking around promoting & selling their self made CD. Well hell...knowing this was how the band made it's living I asked the guy how much, he said $20. I didn't have a $20 in my billfold, so asked Mike for one, which he gave in frustration rolling his eyes...no doubt saying to himself, 'why the hell does she always get suckered by such peddlers', haha. I handed the man a $20, but then he hounded me for a tip, so I ended up giving him a couple more bucks. Mike then moved me along before I was suckered by someone else, haha. I know I'm a sucker sometimes...it's intentional, I don't get suckered when I don't want to.

Our group proceeded on, led by Kenny, we returned to our vehicles & headed for St.Judes. Because there are more photos corresponding with this part of the story, I will continue with our visit to St.Judes in Part 4, followed by Part 5, which will include our visit to Graceland, etc.. The conclusion to my story will follow, which will include our Memphis visit grand finale...the Kid Rock & TBT concert.

Strutting Beale Street, Kenny O with the lead as it should be, haha:

Kenny's pretty thin, but Shannon is really thin, like Kid Rock thin. Everyone thinks Shannon looks so much like Kid Rock. I can see somewhat the similarities, but overall don't think he looks as much like Kid Rock as others do. Mike swears if Shannon dressed up like Kid, threw on a Fedora...he could be Kids twin. I can't make that leap, haha.
