Wow! I am floored. It is believed he had a massive heart attack. He looks a damn awful lot like my oldest brother Jeff. Jeff has had all kinds of health problems the past year. With his blood pressure and stuff like that. He has had hypertension since his early 20's. I keep thinking i am gonna loose sibling #2 too soon. I get a bit upset thinking damn if i had any way to get him the best cardiologist in the US i would...now i hear about this with Gandolfini....
Makes ya think. You start making bargains when your loved ones are sick ya know.

With all this talk about a $20 tour and yes I see those dates....why do I have to pay over $160 for a single ticket on Sept. 21st ? (not including parking) I have already bought my 2 tickets for my wife and I, but it sure hurt the wallet on this one.

I didn't hear about the article that the Detroit Free Press published until I saw something on Facebook. I logged on here and read the response from Bobby to the lady who wrote the article. It put a big smile on my face from the very beginning of his response. The very first sentance states it all. The lady who wrote that article lost all site of the importance of the company and what it stands for. Let's not forget about everything else Bobby does for Detroit. Geez oh petes.

Ya know what really sucks? the story generally about getting good quality, affordable, products that are made in American has all but disappeared. Everyone talks about "Buy American" but that's really really hard to do unless you're very wealthy. that is an across the board story, one that gets buried, and that's what the press should have focused on~

Was this article from the free something, out of Detroit? Seems like it from fb, I think. I only ask b/c if that is the case, I gotta say, that is the second in like what a month. The shirts, before that the cigar smoking. They were the same ones with glowing remarks praising and thanking Kid Rock for all that he has is and will be doing for Detroit. Now, if they are infact the same, I would have to wonder w/ the sudden chg in tune, if it is somebody within the city somewhere that maybe feeling a tad bit threatened by the popularity and support that Kid Rock has from the city & it's citizens. Idk, just my own opinion, something seems up is all, by the way if I am a little right, Mr. Rock outta feel super flattered by efforts.
Anytime you're on top, many other folks want the spot. Even if they are not willing to do all that the person on top did, sacrificed to do, to get there. Unfortunately, that happens. I think that there is a tiny bit of a chance that these types of articles maybe a result of that sort of thing, maybe.

I really do not care where the shirts tee shirts or material are made. The design is screen printed in Clarkston MI. USA. They employ a manager and 7 other full time employees.
Stanzler the former owner could not make a go of his business so Bob Ritchie bought the name and design. Stanzler is the one who has sour grapes. He is now wishing he had that label back as he is up and running with a new company. I am sure this crap was started by him or one of his associates.
Bob moved the company to make it profitable near his own hometown. It is called logistics. He did not move the business to China or anywhere out of the USA. Will this stop us from going to concerts or the cruise. Hell no, and if it does you are personally depriving yourself from down to earth fun. How many employees do you think it takes to pull all that together? American economy.
Who cares that Bob does not live in Detroit. 99.9% of us do not live there. We support Detroit by attending functions and contributing to the city's economy.
Bob does a lot for the state of Michigan and the Detroit area. I would guess that Stanzler lives in the suburbs also. I do not know this to be fact though.
Hell half of the produce that many of us eat does not come from local farmers. Check the produce stands as you shop. Go figure. Just recently we experienced the orange juice scare.
80% of the oil to run our partially made American cars are from overseas.
America has a larger problem than tee shirts from Made In Detroit and this happened back when Bob Ritchie was truly a little Kid.
Guess everyone should stay out of Wally World, Meijer and Target also. I just ordered Bali Blinds from a US Company but guess what they were shipped from Mexico. We have limited options for Made in the USA.
Buy American when we can for sure, but when not possible I doubt too many of us are going to deprive ourselves of the things we actually need or want. Chillin the most bound. Just my view

LOL, bet he wished the brand was something other than "Made in Detroit." As part of this deal, Bob also had some other lines up and ready to go a couple of years ago...."Made in Malibu" "Made in Nashville" and "Made in Vegas"
