Have I missed it? there is a pearl jam channel, a margaritaville channel, where's Kid's channel?
wouldnt it be great? to hear kid unedited, acoustic jam sessions with other artists, commentary, etc.?
Uh oh, I didn't say, "Mad in Clarkston" -- now I'm a liar and a cheat!!
Well, at least the "hatchet job" article allowed Kid Rock to not only point out MID's goal to re-instill a sense of Detroit pride, to give back to the community, create jobs in Michigan, fund a music scholarship, and to support local merchants and charities; but, again, to publicly tell someone to go fuck themselves -- and, rightfully so!! You tell 'em Bobby!!
And, I imagine the person most upset about this, besides Kid Rock, is the Free Press Pop Music Reporter, Brian McCollum (and his photographer) who were lucky enough to get the assignment to capture and report all the fun being had on the Kid Rock Cruise. I think, now, their destiny won't be on The Destiny when it departs from Miami in a few weeks for round three of Fun in the Sun.
I think it's also safe to say that Made In Detroit sales will go up and Detroit Free Press subscriptions will go down thanks to the superfluous article. Great tasting wine comes from sour grapes!! ; )~
And, Wikipedia's facts are as stellar as Susan Tompor's. I wish someone would at least correct the bogus statement on Kid's page that says: He has his own clothing line called Made in Detroit which he purchased from its creator, Detroit designer Robert Stanzler, in 2003. Stanzler, a longtime friend of Kid Rock (NOT!), is mentioned by name in Rock's song "Early Mornin' Stoned Pimp". Shockingly, the credited source is . . . Detroit Free Press!!

Aw, thanks for all the kind words my friends! It's called -- Fun with Kid Rock Quotes. ; )~
I would sooo buy this. You are talented LK, indeed!
All this crap will only but a boost in the MID sales. I know I will be buying again.
ha.. nice work LK....
btw.. I haven't been able to email you back.. but a BIG congrats is in order.. you deserve it ; )
You know what would be really funny?..Kid sells this as a shirt to the KRC members and then donates the money to be used for a journalism scholarship at a local university so future journalists actually learn how to present a fair and unbiased report. Would make for a great news article down the line. I love irony.
I would so buy this in a t-shirt

Hey, that's my profile pic! Love it, love Bob's response. I am so glad he spoke up on this one. I bought MID for Christmas gifts last year and this year. They are of great quality and customer service is excellent. Think I need to place another order :) We haven't received the paper in a long time. I find most press to be biased and to sensationalize for the sake of sales.
I hope Bob really knows that his fans believe in him. I've never seen a group of people so loyal. Yep, proudly sayin' I'm one of 'em!
