There's no reason to work for the man in this wonderful country of ours. Just met with my husbands , now my business partner to go over the details of the new company . He and my spouse ave been working on patents for sometime and he's has quite a few and other ventures and seeing how he has some free time now we decided upon our venture of passive income bringing in about 15 g a day to start. I'm gonna be busy doing the marketing portion since I have all the contacts until it gets going and off the ground and then well, fishing, writing a few songs.
Love when the arenas, be it The Joe, Palace, Ford Field, or Comerica, play Boston's 'Can't stop Believing.' Each and every fan stands up and sings at the top of their lungs. "BORN AND RAISED IN SOUTH DETROIT." We have a Southwest side and a Southeast side, we have a Northwest and a Northeast side, but no South Detroit, that is why we sing that so loud, cuz our South Detroit neighbors are actually our fine neighbors whom live in Windsor, Ontario, Canada. So proud of the Wings tonight. WOW, we have to keep this game going. GO WINGS!!!
...if you don't have beer, I make ? My francais is rusty. Always remember this important one too "ou es la salle de bain? (Where's the bathroom)-LOL not so sure on the spelling either.
ya know, when I went to the Terminal 5 show I didn't know anyone there except my man. but since, I keep seeing a lot of people saying they were there too. I was up front on the left side. Were any of you folks the really cute, short curvy chick who was grinding her ass into my hips all night? cause if you were... um... thanks! It added a little je ne sais quoi to my night. :-)
He truly does not like playing Jones Beach!Which for me truly sucks since it`s my backyard.Terminal 5 was awesome! Perfer seeing him in small venues like that.Irving plaza,Hammerstein. The New York crowd seem to be very hard on Kid.
I was at that Terminal 5 show, and it remains the best live show I have *ever* seen, hands down! it was fucking awesome. but it wasn't sold out, and its a venue for only like 3,000 people. It is what it is. I'm not knocking KR, I am a huge fan. but he focuses, generally, on where his fan base is strongest. but he does occasionally play places where that isn't true (NYC, Canada, England for example) and that's awesome too.
don't matter to me none, long as he keeps rockin', its all good. glad the show was good... the one in Hershey was really great. he was totally *on*~ love it!
The show was fantastic, the only thing it was hot as shit, as far as a fan base when played at Jones Beach it was sold out, a couple of months later he played at terminal 5 place was jammed. Kid is on more radio stations these days which would bring more fans. He should play at Jones Beach great place to see concerts, the brezze off the water makes it cool.
how was the Jersey show? I saw him in Hershey (I live in Brooklyn).
I just don't think the city crowds are as fun or loving to KR. sadly. we tend to be an aggressive audience anyway, and this isn't his strongest fan base. I think there are a lot of us here, we just stay quiet about it. and the more country vibe isn't ever gonna go over big here. the confederate flag doesn't help either.
but, like he said on Jon Stewart last night, he's still here. and he'll keep finding more fans here. and we'll keep traveling to neighboring states to see him!
rock on~
(PS. if you are in NYC this weekend, go see Mad Conductor at Southpaw on Sunday. they're awesome.)
Tres bien, et merci. I took three years in high school, two in college. I lived two years in Japan and it did me absolutely no good-LOL
ha ha ha Lk+KR
(and hey, how do you get the cross to come up on your screen)?
a tout a l'heure (which means, see ya later)
Too bad the PNC show was subdued, the last time, 2008, Rev Run brought all his homies and the place erupted for his set with Bob.

@jade and RSMS, you crack me up after 10 years of French, the only thing I remember is 'Ou est la biblioteque' Guess it's rosetta stone for me!

LOL Jade. Je parle un peu de francais, aussi.
I was real lucky at Terminal 5, I greased the palm of a bouncer and sat upstairs in the VIP section. Kid show some love to Long Island
