Kid Rock Shoots Music Video at McLouth Steel in Trenton
The Trenton Fire Department confirmed that Kid Rock shot a music video for his new hit single "Let's Ride" at McLouth Steel on Tuesday.

Trenton resident Kristen sat in her car near Sibley Gardens waiting impatiently for a glimpse of her idol as she stared into the broken windows and cracked walls of McLouth Steel.
Though she didn't see her favorite artist, she heard one of her favorite new songs as it echoed from within the enormous empty building across the street.
"Super exciting, since I'm a huge Kid Rick fan and go on his yearly Kid Rock Cruise, where he performs multiple concerts at sea as well as on the beach for his die-hard fans," Kristen said.
Rock star and Michigander Kid Rock shot a music video for his new hit single "Let's Ride" at the former McLouth Steel property Tuesday, according to Trenton Fire Marshal Jeff Evans.
Evans said he heard about the video that morning and stopped in to check to make sure everything was safe.
Production of the video began early Tuesday morning and ended late in the afternoon.
Just 30 to 40 feet from the Kid himself, Evans said he spoke to a production manager to find out how many people were inside the building in case of an emergency.
"There were all very cool," Evans said.
He added he was able to hear Kid Rock and his band play the new single about four or five times before he headed back to the station.
When asked if Evans was a fan, he replied, "Everybody loves Kid Rock."
Kid Rock's new album "Rebel Soul" is set to be released on Nov. 19.
