Hope you get through every Storm Joyfully and Reach your Goal of Sainthood. I have reached out the St. Helens to join the Parish and the Family and I are fully rejoining the Church and furthering our Faith. We have all been baptized Catholic and my wife and I and our oldest daughter who is 19 have all received the sacremants. We have some catching up to do with the boys. I don't know how you read the Catechism it's like an encyclopedia or dictionary. At least the actual book that holds the Catechism. I have not researched but think that "Catechism" must mean the "beliefs" and what you are receiving is not as it's written. Don't know for sure. Good to see you fight for your faith and it was not my intent to offend. Again we have some mixings and I wasn't sure who you were trying to "sting" so maybe your right and I was wrong. I can not imagine what it is like to have the desire to become Sainted. I just want to find a Parish that will accept us and help us grow. Since leaving St. Cecilia's Cathedral in my Hometown we have not found a Parish where we felt welcome. We were more then welcome, we were saved by angels in the Church of Christ and LDS but after learning more about what they believe we can't convert and have made that clear. They keep trying but I have made a decision and I stand by my decisions. It's the only way to move forward in life for me. Just so it's clear....I stated long ago and never hide....I am a Nutball!!! Hey, it takes one nutball to know one! Don't let people stop you from going to church. Go to church for God. Go to ask for pardon for your sins. Go to recieve Him worthily. Do you know how many old miserable women are running the chruch now? They ain't gett'in too far with me! And they are not going to be in my way to see My Lord. Focus on The Lord and He will guide you in all of your ways! Pray for the spirit of discernment. We are so rich in history! Start to read about the lives of the Saints, especially the women saints (they were some tough cookies!)and incredible historical people. They are my Heros! It's so great to hear this good news today! Keep strong like our Strong Lion did all the way up to Calvary! Good luck and ENJOY! Taste and see how sweet The Lord is! Amen.
P.S. I think they send me a line everyday from the Cathechism. Unfortunantely my demonic mother prevents me from being able to read them most of the time She starts up by calling me from upstairs the minute I'm online reading something holy, it's very strange how she knows how to time it from her bedroom. Plus, I do spend a considerable amount of time in church and praying. It's the least I can do.

My life was uprooted by some "bad" people in the Catholic Church and their actions. Taking my two younger siblings away from my Mother because she was poor and not married at the time. She, my sister and I and the two we were forced to give up at birth for adoption and never knew were unaccaptable for the church leaders at the time. Our recent decision for us to return after a 10 year absence back to that same church actually came because of something that we were told 10 years ago just before the seceret of 33 years was found out. Wendy asked Father Damien Cool this question: "why do Catholics beieve they are the one and holy apostolic church?" He said that's a great question and next week I will answer. We were going through RCIA so Wendy could convert. Lot of good it did her cheatin bitch ass. Did I just say that out loud? Anyway the next week Fr Damien brought us a large framed print. It has the picture of all the Popes over the ages. Pope just being the "head" of the Church. It started with Jesus then to Peter then to the next Pope and the next and all the way in an unbroken line to Pope John Paul II who was Pope at the time of the question. I believed that answer as it make sense. There has never been a time when the keys of the kingdom have not rested in the Hands of The Pope and "The Church" that Jesus Started remains today in the hands of The Pope. Now to another point There have been some real bad popes, priest and others in the Church ask Martin Luther who in 1517 "Protested" the church doings and Left to begin the Protestant Church and then of course Joseph Smith who started the Mormon Religion left the Protestant Religion. I came to understand that even though there have been and are today some real bad people in "The Church" The Catholic Church does hold the Keys to The Kingdom that Jesus Passed to Simon and renamed him Peter "Rock"

I can only speak for myself. I know first hand the evil men do. And when that evil person resides in the Church it's easy to say That Church is Bad! I had to come to the realization that there are good and bad in every belief. Good and bad messages in every faith! However, If I wish to be a follower of the Teachings of Jesus Christ I should go to the Church he founded so long ago. With knowing that there has been a unbroken line from Jesus to Peter all the way through the years to the most current Pope (yes who I can't think of his name). I know that they teach of word of Jesus Christ. My H E R O! Lord and Savior! Even though I understand that man is ministering those words now and he is a SINNER! Like me! Lisa Lisa Lisa what an understatement. I have a ton of stuff I feel guilty about! I wouldn't even know where to start. Thank You though as you have given me an idea where to go. Confession! I am fallen Catholic and I'm going to get up...dust myself off and get to Church! Thank You so much! I needed that! I feel the worse that as my Mother was failing all though I supported her needs financially I was not there by her side nearly as much as I thought I should have been. I just had this block because I had just found out that my Wife was having an affair and it rocked me after 20+ years of marriage and raising four kids together. Bad situation that we are still dealing with. But with that and the fact that everytime I would go see my Mother in the condition she was in I would have emotional breakdown and cry uncontollably. However, I did make sure that my Mother knew I was her son and that I loved her witih all my heart and soul, that I just had a hard time seeing her sick. I also made her smile (she couldn't any longer open her eyes) but I made her smile and let her know I was going to be sure her final wishes were followed out. That I had the means to fly her after death to Omaha her hometown, have a service at her Church St. Cecilia's Cathedral and that all her Crieghton Friends would attend. Then to bury her next to her parents at Cavalery. She smilled big and bright as the sun and I felt good. I did follow through with that promise and had two services one here in AZ and then flew her home. God Bless and Hold ya Ma...I love and miss you and things have gotten so much better. See ya soon!

It sounds like I'm going through what you just went through. And Calvary Cemetary is right up the street from me where my family is buried.....Shhhh, it's also where I lost my virginity at 15 yrs. I just confessed that one after all this time I'm 46 now. Talk about guilt. It was so weird that day, it was a partly cloudy day and I was looking up to the heavens with my legs spread eagle saying in my head to God, "Oh God, what am I doing?" And guess what I then heard the sound of thunder comming from the sky. This is no joke....I knew he was mad at me. It finally took me almost 40 yrs. to straighten up or else I'd be burning in hell by now. He is so patient with us we must be so thankful to be given the grace to try to sin no more.

God works in mysterious ways. I've have good and bad dreams come true. I don't let the bad ones scare me. I hope to continue to make my frequent confessions during my life. To recieve His Body and His Precious Blood worthily durrnig my life. And at the end of my life I hope to be able to make a final confession, to obtain worthy satisfaction and the remission of all of my sins. The only thing that scares me is that I'm not sure if a priest will be able to come to my needs at that final hour. The harvest is abundant but the laborers are few. I couldn't even get one of them on the phone right away yesterday to ask a question for a friend interested in joining the catholic faith. Then when I finally did the one who has 25 yrs. in was "foggie" on my question. Please pray for my priests (especially when they have to deal with me, hee,hee,hee). They have them all frazzeled. Poor babies. I love all of them good or bad......Someones's gotta do it or else all of Our Lords sheep (which is hopfully me or you) would be lost forever! Thank you Lord.

Funny you should mention that about getting ahold of a Priest. We have made a decision to get back to our Catholic roots. We are all baptized Catholic and I come from a strong Catholic family. I emailed St Helens the Parish that we are closest to and told them that my family wishes to join their Parish and that we have been away for a while due to our selfish and self centered lives. It's been since Monday Night and No Response. I'm going there in person today. I have to remind myself...there are good and bad in every organized religion. That can't stop me from pursueing the Man Above! Keep calling those Priest! Call Father Damien Cook at St. Peter's in Omaha, NE. He was our Priest who helped us with Wendy converting through the RCIA and was great. He's younger and plays in a band! He has always returned or taken calls. Don't seek a Catholic Priest you will have to find a Catholic Priest who is a True Christian. A lot of them don't seem to know the meaning of the word Christian. Fr. Cook was great with helping Wendy become Catholic and helping to prepare her to recieve the full sacraments! Love ya...Peace and Harmany Gritts!!!

Even if you know that they are in error it will sicken The Lord if you attack one of His Vicars. Say a Hail Mary form him if he's not living uo to the faith. The Mother of God is The Queen of the clergy. She will take care of everything including US! She has been chosen to be the Mother of God for a just reason and she has been given many graces. She's been crowned Queen of Heaven and Earth and when you see a statue of her (In the Catholic Churches) she is normally crushing the head of the serpent. The devil actually waits to get crushed by her! Isn't that so cool! It's like ever since I've grown to be devoted to Her she has hepled me with my sister who is pretty hard to deal with and now it's like my sister waits to hear me correct her when she does something wrong. She's a real bully. She has no control of it and she has had no choice but to submit. Pray the Rosary as often as you can! Lots of luck and many miracles! And gritts for breakfest! so exciting to hear someone going back to the one and only real Holy Church! God Bless you!
