Time will tell.

My opinion is that he thinks what he accomplished is bigger and greater than the way he did it...
Which is a complete falsehood. I don't care how he rationalizes it, he didn't earn those medals if he doped.
I'm glad he still does good things, but am disappointed.
Sheryl musta known something, because they spent enough time talking to her, and she sure was around a lot.

He did admit to doping, but just once, for one race, but he thought it was just a painkiller. I'm sorry, this guy is a douche, In my opinion. No integrity. In my opinion, he is just trying to restore some respectability. Only way to do that is to be completely honest, admitting to one instance is taking the American public for the fools he thinks we are. Yahoo sports has some really great articles, by some very good and respectable sports reporters. Here is one by Dan Wetzel

I did not want people to think I was casting stones. I can agree to disagree but I think integrity is everything in a person.

RSMS-why did you change your title and the whole discussion you started? I thought you wanted different points of view on what you wrote?

The only thing I think that is wrong here is he is talking on Oprah, can't stand her (I have my own personal reasons) even though she's a mega empire within herself. As far as Lance he is one hell of an athlete regardless and beat cancer helped people believe so the pros out weighed the cons. No -one should be judging anyone unless they live in that world and or others. Everybody wants Hero's, rockstars, athletes, dancers, wrestlers, etc... but God forbid if they fall out of favor. When a person starts on their journey or dream to become what they want it always comes with a price-nothing is free-so then you ask yourself what is best (and the people around you) and keep going from there and change your life and keep going which Lance is doing, he's a person, a father and he is still an athlete!
No-one can cast a stone at anyone. We all make mistakes, we all have a past that is what makes us who we are today and people learn from other's so people will learn from Lance now.

Wanna bet he cries? Sheryl was with him through all this, makes me wonder about her character as well.
