And I ain't talkin about Bud Light...Although, that would be my beverage of choice after a hard workout! No, the Kidz continuing his mission to Kick Cancers A$$!! And I'm going to do it by running the Phoenix Rock and Roll Marathon this coming January. Follow my training as I work through the DOG DAYZ of summer running my A$$ off through two a day workouts. The first phase has already begun, and I'm starting to build an amazing base of runnin gand weight lifting.

Phase two will throttle back the weights and kick up the mileage, somewhere to around 80-100 miles per week running. Watch the KID get SO HOTT, you're goin to want to get me ALONE!!!!

Raven....I'm sorry to hear that you have to battle this awful disease. You have a great outlook because there is ALWAYS hope. Never give up, and LIVESTRONG!!! Last year I ran the NYC Marathon and raised over $5000 for the Lance Armstrong Foundation in the honor of a great friend of mine who was batteling late stage kidney cancer. My friend lost his battle this past February, but my fight lives on. I met a LOT of amazing people along the way. Like one of the members of my LIVESTRONG Army who himslef battled kidney cancer, kicked it's ass, and ran the NYC Marathon with me. You just have to keep fighting the great fight!

This morning, it's a little past 6am here in AZ. I just returned from my mornign run. Yesterday was another two a day of 3 milesrunning followed by an afternoon session of leg workouts that was extensions, curls, squats and presses. To say my legs were tired for this mornings speed workout was an understatement. But, as my motto is, you have to keep putting one foot in front of the other!! I do this fight because running isn't a battle...Cancers a BATTLE. I do this because the pain I go through on each and every workout is nothing....It's little....And I never sweat the little things. Lance Armstrong has a great running mantra that keeps me going. Me and running don't always see eye to eye. Some day's it hurts more then others. But that doesn't mean I don't do it. I deal with it and I keep runnign because not everything that is good for you always feels good for you. And that's the kind of inspiration I needed this morning. And did I mention, a little Rock and Roll Jesus to get my blood flowing! The workout consisted of 4x400m;2x800m;4x400m for a total of 3 miles. My 400m target pace was 1:47 and my 800m target was 3:35...Strangely enough, I only missed two sets of the target times in the 400m. I did miss both ont he 800m as I had the wrong targets in my mind when I was out there. That's ok...I was only 5 seconds off
