Kid's Drop Has Droped

He talked previously about a greatest hits album I didn't think it was quite time but hearing from all the fans I thinks time for Kid to pull some old grit out of the magic hat and Mack em!

I would definately say I'm not a defender of all things Kid Rock. I'm a defender of things that are real or that I believe in, or that don't hide behind a rock and come out and say this is who I am and I'm not afraid f the mistakes I've made or the things I've done. It is what it is. I'm sure he'd tell you or if you look back at my posts , you'd definately see that I'm not a lap dog. I'm not sold 100% on anything. Everything always has an angle and we all look at angles differently dependant on which view we are looking from.

Kids/teens are the biggest buying power and yes Beiber and swift sell to Tweens . Kid is an aquired taste more for the mature audience. The more ya listen the more ya like. I'm nobodies lap dog and answer to no one, call it high horse if ya want. It is what it is and I am what I am. Are you what you are or what. Bill boards , I agree are a popularity contest and I've never been the follower type just a good fan.

Look RJL not to argue with you but i call it like i see and i am an objective fan. IT is a pretty good album. But i ain't gonna argue with folks who disagree or slag it. I am not a lap dog for Kid Rock. If you let what others say bother you and influence your music tastes that is sad. I listen to what i want and buy what i want. 3.4 million fbook fans is a pretty cool set of numbers for him or anyone...He sells a good lot of tickets consistently and has a good fan base...no slaggin him for working as an artist from me. Billboard is just basically a tool to see how well the record is selling...nothing else. I ain't gonna lie....i am curious. He steadily sells close to the same amount of records on a consistent basis. Just curious partially to see if that still is true. It ain't gonna make me say i won't see him if his numbers are low in concert or wanna see him more if they are high. I will probably see one show & try to get a good ticket to it. I ain't gonna get all crazy and go to umpteen shows. If he happens to go on a long tour i might see him again towards the end if he comes within a certain range of me again.

The key for me seeing him more then once is gonna be ticket cost. I can't pop for some of these crazy assed ticket prices some artist put out there. I say keep it under a $100 with all fees. And i think many other fans feel the same way as me.

How much has it sold to date? Just curious. First week out was respectable for sure. All things considered in the current music climate that is. It honestly is hard for any artist other then say Bieber, Lady Gaga, and select few to sell more then a 150k even in the first week and even if they advertise the hell out of it. Which i gotta give Kid credit, he pimped the hell out of that cd. I think the tour will help sell it some more. Like most artists their bread and butter is in touring in these times. Music don't sell like it used to. I remember when i used to read about a new release months prior to release. Many times it was described in magazines. You had to actually buy it or a friend did and take a listen. It didn't get blasted on the internet prior to the release date etc.

IMO i think he did pretty frickin' good all things considered...
