Wow! I am floored. It is believed he had a massive heart attack. He looks a damn awful lot like my oldest brother Jeff. Jeff has had all kinds of health problems the past year. With his blood pressure and stuff like that. He has had hypertension since his early 20's. I keep thinking i am gonna loose sibling #2 too soon. I get a bit upset thinking damn if i had any way to get him the best cardiologist in the US i would...now i hear about this with Gandolfini....
Makes ya think. You start making bargains when your loved ones are sick ya know.
With all this talk about a $20 tour and yes I see those dates....why do I have to pay over $160 for a single ticket on Sept. 21st ? (not including parking) I have already bought my 2 tickets for my wife and I, but it sure hurt the wallet on this one.
I would settle for a DVD so I can watch it over and over (and over) again! There's really nothing like live but would hate to hear he worked himself sick. I will wait patiently honing my "refresh the page" skills till the next tour!
I agree he/they deserve a break, but I will go crazy not being able to see him! We saw him 4 times this year and wanted to see more. It will be so hard not having anything to look forward to next year.
My bad Laura :-) i watched the video----and i agree---touring IS tiring!!!!!!!
On a no-where similiar scale---i sing with this little club band on the weekends----last weekend we had two shows in South Carolina (i live in Atlanta) and then had to haul ass back home for a show on Sunday---talk about being exhausted!!!!!!!! By the time we were loading out on Sunday night----the equipment felt like it weighed 7 million pounds and everyone just wanted to go home and go to bed!!!!!!
But being on-stage is so awesome :-) There's not a feeling like that in the world :-)
I hope that Kid and Tbt are getting some VERY deserved---R&R :-)
If you watch the video he states " I'm probably not going to tour a lot next year".
That does not mean there will not be any. He will selectively do what he feels he should.
We can all look forward to the DVD's that he promised. Just remember he is above all else a human being (and he works his ass of to make us happy).
The TBT also needs time with family and their other musical interest as some them have musical groups of their own on top of the rigid touring schedule with Kid Rock.
Rest is well deserved at this time. He after all wants to work on a new CD. The the madness will start once again.
I don't want anyone to take this the wrong way..
At Allegan, the last stop for the tour, Bob and the band sounded GREAT and put on a stellar show..
but if you were close enough to see, they all looked very tired...I'm sure a well-deserved rest after all of that touring (all year) is in order...they've been playing and on the road since January. At least I hope they take a break for their physical and mental well-being!
I think last i heard he was gonna do some smaller venues in November and December then not sure after that. I figured he was probably gonna be writing and recording etc next year. Who knows really? I am sure when he is ready to say what is up he will....
yes he's back. got tickets to see him in nashville. can't wait,

A much deserved break is in order!
he did like 75 shows this year-man, he and the band have to be exhausted. I don't know how they do it?

Then the madness will start all over again. Or maybe I have developed a stutter. Who knows!
