Uncle Kracker - Flint, MI Machine Shop Oct 11, 2013
I just went to his show last night with sheryl crow at the shoreline!!!
Amazing show.. sheryl was great live and kid rock kicked ass!!!!!!!!!!!
At the beginning of his set, there is a slideshow "rock" history
they have song samples they play as they go through the slide show..
Does anyone know the songs they sample??? or anyone have a video of that part of his show???
There's a rock song they used for 2001 or some year close to that
if you know what song it is please let me know
=)

hmmm... wonder if you mean the sample he uses in the actual American Bad Ass song which is Metallica's Sad but True. That song came out around 1993.. so it's quite a match ; )
here's a link to that song on youtube

Thank you all for your replies =)
I am trying to find the list of songs used for the intro, slide show at the beginning of his concerts
its called the history of rock, and im not reffering to the album of his...but the slide show before he starts his set live
There is a famous classic rock/rock song he samples for 5 to 10 seconds i want to say around the 90's i wanna say 2001 on his slide show
if anyone knows the songs he used for his "history of rock" slide show please let me know
and if anyone has any additional videos of this at his concerts feel free to let me know or of which song i am referring too =)
and thank u beckxy says for the youtube link
@ Diana -- I LOVE "The History of Rock" (and I'm over 40 ; ) it's compilation of older material -- material from the albums The Polyfuze Method and Early Mornin' Stoned Pimp. The only new tracks were American Bad Ass and F That. It was his highest charting album, before Rock N Roll Jesus & Born Free, reaching #2. I just love Prodigal Son & My Oedipus Complex!!
I have been working my way backwards through Kid Rock's music. Love "Rock N Roll Jesus" and "Born Free". of recent. Some of my favorites; although older albums, have been "Kid Rock", "Cocky" and "Live Trucker". Not really a fan of his "History of Rock" but the album in growing on me. I don't think that I will go back farther into "Devil Without a Cause" although that brought him his first platinum ranking. Maybe I am old (am over 40 after all) and my musical tastes have changed over the years. Check out his albums. Well worth the price and not available on I-Tunes.
link to a fan video posted on youtube of the 'history of rock' intro into the show

before 2001 it was 'American Bad Ass'.. then went into 'You never met a mother f'er quite like me' right at 2001 and then after that it went into 'Feel like making love' which is actually a Bad Company cover that he did on the 'Kid Rock'... self titled album in 2003.
