On Christmas day, it seems I blew the engine on my car. I will be unloading my Kid Rock collectibles, Paradime Collectibles, and TBT Collectibles. My Car is going to cost me 3 Grand to repair, and I need all the funds I can to make sure I have a vehicle. So, in the upcoming days, be ready to bid, donate, and help a cause much greater then u may think. I am also organizing a benefit show...
Happy Trails
@ Diana. Thoughts and prayers from me, too. Glad to hear the surgery went well. Funny, I couldn't get into the WRIF tent either Friday night because I had my teens with me. But, I was able to on Saturday (went solely with the hubby). I am happy you had fun. Kid IS the best medicine!!!! Take care.
And KRLO: great post!
@diana, Glad you had such a great time. You needed it. Hope everything went well with your surgery.
Diana, complete and total prayers are in your corner from us, this is not bullshit, I pray every night. I think prayer really does help. No bible thumper but a good prayer to the good Lord never hurts.
On Friday, in a 24 hr time span, 7 people died in 16 shootings in the neighborhoods, they did not happen downtown but still such a sad ending to what should have been a ridiculously fun weekend for the city. Sad.
This was my first Detroit experience. I have absolutely NOTHING negative to say. No violence around where we were, no drunks puking on me, no fights. I even got to park only 1 block from Comerica. Still took us a while to get out after the concert, but again no problems. the Bad Ass Beer tent was fun and even though we couldn't get into the WRIF tent (our 16 yr old son was not allowed in) we still had the best time! I didn't know bad things happened that night. Kid Rock did a WONDERFUL job and I am proud to be from Michigan. So much fun on Friday night, made my breast cancer surgery Monday morning just a little easier to deal with. Now I understand "Ain't no party like a Detroit party!"
It was like a class reunion for me at Cheli's (knew the bartender, one guy from Rockestra that was playing, and a handful of partiers...) I had a lot of fun! It was a great weekend.
Been praying for Sugar Land's stage mishap, & those that passed on from that. I found out from my Sister a couple of hours ago.... these too, will most definitely be in my prayers; as well as all of their loved ones.
me too. I did meet Cheryl and her husband, though, in line at the WYCD slot machine.
bummed i didnt get to meet ya.....:(
