Summer event season is in full swing in the Quad City area. And as the events go on, so does severe weather.
Event organizers must plan for any possible weather conditions. Burlington Steamboat Days President and Des Moines County Sheriff, Mike Johnson, said organizers run through exercises with emergency management crews.

I was hearing about this and thinking well, you know what maybe the cool weather will be over and the warm will move in the following week for me...I know i am bad and probably sounding slightly selfish saying that. Never seen the ocean wanna have a great warm trip is all!
Hope the cruisers had a great time no matter. I am sure they did. They had some great live shows i am positive of that one. Kid will bring them a kick ass show no matter if it was snowing on that cruise ship! Just glad i didn't hear on the news about the Kid Rock cruise ship that had no food, working toilets, etc....
