    I Wish Y'all Lived in Michigan

    LOL we really don't say y'all here too much.

    Reason I'm writing is to tell y'all how proud we are of our homeboy Kid Rock. See, he does a lot of good here and doesn't get/ask for alot of recognition in return--guess that's how you judge a man's character. He's thought of very highly here. You turn on the news any day of the week, and KR is probably going to be on it (Detroit for sure, I live in Mid-Michigan and he gets press from all 4 channels constantly here,( in case he wants to know, channel 5, 12, 25, and 66).

    We appreciate the efforts he makes, even tho he doesn't have to. Most ppl think the big D is not worth it, not our Homeboy. He believes in us, you see, even when we don't believe in ourselves.

    So the next time you hear sh*t from the left or sh*t from the right, think twice. My Homeboy is right in the middle where he belongs.

V/A : I agree and did not mean to insinuate otherwise with you personally. Alot of peeps here do not live near the Big D like you and I, and may not get it. Bad is bad and good is good wherever you are, no question. Kiss and make up?
What I meant to accentuate is that most ppl here in MI do not see a black/white issue; they see a disadvantaged/advantaged population. And it didn't used to be that way.
LOL the disadvantages of the internet communication system.

i personally dont care what color people are. there is good and bad in every culture, and ive always chosen not to associate with the bad. its just that simple.

I hope you're right, Video. It hasn't been a black/white thang for awhile. When is the last time you looked at someone's skin color? It's a non-issue. Unfortunately, it's an economic issue.

absolutely! this is definitely going to raise a lot of debate in and around detroit. maybe its a good thing. maybe he can use this to bridge the gap within the city. for a long time its been black vs white, and vice versa. this may be a critical turning point.
