Snow is fun when you can just ski, or board, and ride some rails, and make snow angels, and freeze your feet off starting the car up in the morning, and deicing all the windows so noone has to get in a cold cold car. You can build a fort, if you have the packable snow. Anyone can build a really cool snow fort, just use shoe boxes, stuff them with snow, stack them and voila, you have the best snow fort in the neighborhood. I just hope the snow keeps flying. Merry Winter.

Building a good snow fort is a skill! Many Winters under my belt and many good snowball fights with the neighborhood kids! Once my neighbor actually built a real igloo! it was the coolest thing ever! Big, round, the little arched doorway to climb through; exactly like you envision an igloo. That thing lasted for about 3 weeks. It was a good cold Michigan Winter that year. But, our parents STILL would not let us sleep in it?! We played in it all day long, but for some reason they thought it would suddenly collapse or we woudl freeze at night. Silly parents! LOL. It is beautiful down here in Southeast Michigan with our Winter white on!
Angelique, we tried to sleep
Angelique, we tried to sleep in our snow fort one year and parents put a kabosh on that idea. We basically just belted the next door neighbors, or the across the street neighbors w/ snowballs. Fun fights. Our forts were the best cuz they were bricks of snow, across the street neighbors forts were just packed snow in the shape of a wall, we could collapse their wall w/ a good hit, they could not collapse our brick snow wall. Pretty sure we had a future architect on our side.

Kid Rocks 40 concert .. I was amazing , I did lay down built a snowman in the little plant things out in front of the hard work.
