Summer event season is in full swing in the Quad City area. And as the events go on, so does severe weather.
Event organizers must plan for any possible weather conditions. Burlington Steamboat Days President and Des Moines County Sheriff, Mike Johnson, said organizers run through exercises with emergency management crews.
"We think of all possible scenarios that could happen at Steamboat Days," he said.

I had to laugh today when I read some comments on the board, It just amazes me that some can act so self-righteous, in 1 respect and in another thread they act like a saint. Yeah OK This is a Kid Rock Board, Got that! So some think they have that Bad ASS attitude. ha ha.
Understand there is diversity in his fan-base Also. Got that too!
Understand people have differences and life experiences might impose their thought process! Got it.
I left the Catholic Church so long ago, I don't feel guilt. I speak my mind, Like I said and will repeat on a board such as this. I just wanna have fun. Yet my questions is..... Do people see/read their own words??
Yet whether others see it IDK maybe they are so ignorant to their words or maybe they just been hardened thru life experiences, at least be consistant, instead of in black and white being a HYPOCRITE
I have to say in the past the people who were most offended on here were people who couldn't handle the truth. Maybe the person who was trying to give an opinion and then you fired back, ya might have just learned something. Then showed you the strengh of their words you cried boo f-ing hoo
SOME of the one's who used the words and other's took it as an ATTACK are in self denial no doubt. At least they had good reasoning and it made sense. I guess I don't understand how can you follow a band like KR/TBT and be that close-minded. Your loss, you'll miss the message everytime. I had this discussion this past weekend, some peeps should just mind their own business and some fans really give their fav band a REALLY BAD NAME!!!! Sometimes ya wonder if people that were so-called supporting the man are just looking for their own 15 minutes of fame. Be real DO IT YOURSELF!!! stop riding on anthoers coat tail and every word. Get a LIFE!!!
IDK maybe give some kind of signal you on/off your meds, might help yourself out some.
