Should have stayed in bed
Red lights, ass wipes
Fat people walking around
With clothes too tight
ATM fees that just aint right
Rents too high, I don’t know why
Everywhere I go they buy and buy
I said Goddamn
I should of stayed in bed
Something wrong with my head
I should of stayed in bed
Scratch off winners
Mini thinners
Too many choices TV dinners
Fake laughing, traffic
Ex wife’s spastic
Head case spinning,
Go home to your basket
I said Goddamn
I shoulda stayed in bed
Something wrong with my head
I shoulda stayed in bed
Over worked, go a boss that’s a jerk
Everywhere I go, there’s twerps
I think paying it forward is
I think paying it forward is a good concept. I don't think money will buy you much of anything but unfortunately we need some of it to make it these days. I wish more ppl were more giving and had better hearts. I have found many here that do. If nothing else Kid Rock has brought to together a rag tag team of misfits who think outside of the box and do things others don't consider.
I think God knows all and he is aware of it all. Sometimes with enemies i wanna get even. I just keep telling myself let god handle it. He does a better job then i could ever dream of doing and my hands aren't dirty when it is said and done. Plus it is better to stand back and let him handle things, you have a lot less guilt. EVEN when others have wronged you and they know darn good and well they have.
I have attained patience, a better perspective and a bit more peace going about things like this. AND yes i do pay it forward. I don't really wanna talk about it as it seems to take away from the person/persons you did it for to me. I just feel fortunate that i am in the position to help ppl from time to time and it worked out for them. I am thankful for all i am blessed with...I have a great family, a good education that i hope to do a lot with, a decent place to work, a roof over head, food in my stomach, money to pay my bills, and a decent outlook on life. THAT @ times is saying something...
Here Here!!! Now that's
Here Here!!! Now that's something you can hang your hat on!!! Yesterday my 12 year old son went back out door to door to businesses selling No Soliciting signs. We sold all we had in the first hour and went looking for more to buy. We had to stop at KMart where we had two No Smoking signs to return that were mixed in with No Solictiting Signs we bought there on Saturday. While at the customer service a cashier approaced to report that a lady in her line was short $1. One single dollar on a big cart full. We looked over this poor older lady was starring over at the Mgr saying I have it in my car I can bring it back in. There were about six people in line behind her. My son Billy without hesitation walked over to the lady and gave her the dollar. At the dismay of the "adult" who stood behind this lady looking mad because the line was held up. She told Billy "I have it in my car I can give it to you" Billy said and I do qoute "Mam, we are paying if forward!" I couldn't have been more proud at then at that moment!
Sunday I told Billy and Michael I was giving them a gift to get ready. They wanted to know what it was. I wouldn't tell and only said as they made plenty of guesses. "it's so big you can't hold it in your hands!" We went to a rest home and I approached the nurses station and told the nurse I was there to give the gift of giving to my sons. She smiled and thought real hard. She had just the right person! Hally Pronounced like the comet had just said how lonely she was and never got visits. She went to make sure she was OK with us coming then led us to her room. We visited for a good half an hour and made a real friend. I'm not sure where it came from but when we got on the subject of pets Michael who is 9 said "we don't have dogs, we have monkeys an OX and a Fox!" WTF I had no idea why he was saying this, we are living in a motel right now LOL. We have no pets. Hally had the biggest smile on her face as did we all as we all laughed at his imagination at 9.
Michael looked at me with a
Michael looked at me with a smile as if to say "I get it Dad...I get it!" Life is real good now. Now that all the distractions of money and the shitty life are gone and all the fair weather family and friends I thought I had. We have all recieved wonderful gifts! Have a roof over our heads, food in our stomach, sit at night and help the boys with homework, teach them what's important and how to save for the "rainy day" lol and show them the love and attention we failed to give when we where "rich". We had millions and were poor as dirt! Now we are poor as dirt and are rich beyound our wildest dreams!!! God is Great! Showed me how to be "a simple man"!
not sure of the moral of your
not sure of the moral of your story BB but I know your one hot momma! My belief is it is your Faith and Works combined that determines your ultimate fate. I agree you can't buy salvation. However, we all can help even when things are not going so well in some ways. For example I gave my two youngest sons the Gift of Giving yesterday morn. We went to a Home near here and visited with a senior that the nurse said never gets visits and is very lonley . We gave her time and companionship and my sons got the great gift of giving. Didn't cost a cent!!!
I think my point was to Do
I think my point was to Do without exspecting anything,...haha your funny,.STIZZZZ,.hahahah,...I think all High school kids should have a requred amount of time spent in a nursing home,..yelp,.the most and best things in life dont cost a cent.well it can but not inregardes to money and thats both positive and negegetive,... That put a smile on my face what yall did.
Now I get you my sugga baby
Now I get you my sugga baby momma! I agree to an extent. You shouldn't expecct anything for the good deeds done but....you do always get something or at least I do. I always feel like I walk away with the gift. I am thinking real hard about becoming a speaker going to tell my stories to HS students. Since most can relate to a "Rock Star" lifestyle I can get their attention then swing it to the "Real Rock Star" life like Kid lives and maybe change a few of em.
I belive you cant buy or work
I belive you cant buy or work your way to salvation in any form,.its only by faith and abiding by the word of God,.and action speake louder than words,...you walk talks and your talk talks but you walk talks louder than your talk talks,.Ive written that befor and learned that in the 10th grade along with trying times are times for trying,.,.oh and Good better best never let it rest until your Good is better and your better best and TEAM means Together Everyone Achives More,.and if ya cant help yourself you cant help anyone else. oh and the sun always shines after the storm. I have become a better person through Kid Rock,.but the fact remains,.it was and is my choice.
