Ooh, I have a better one my son taught me. A few Serrano peppers, bacon, potatoes , tomatillos 2-3, and some chicken chipotle seasoning that has tomato flavor-it's a dry spice in yellow container that has chicken bouillon , chipotle and tomato. In a frying pan cut bacon in small pieces and cut potatoes in small squares and fry potatoes w bacon until browned and crispy. Pour off any extra bacon grease. Boil at same time Serrano peppers , only 1-2 dependent on how hot you like it, and tomatillos in water and once soft pour off liquid, oh and make sure you clip tips of serranos tips off. Put Serrano peppers and tomatillos in a blender and purée . When bacon and potatoes done season w chipotle, chicken , tomato seasoning and pour tomatillos and Serrano sauce over potatoes and bacon, just enough to cover and so as not to get it to wet. Heat flour tortillas and put mixture in tortillas. You won't need hot sauce. Man I got hooked on this one. You have to have the seasoning on this one or its not the same.

You are too funny. And yes after house taxes I am a broke ass mf. Ok let me see. Bone less chicken thighs slice up and pan fried w taco seasoning, cabbage , shredded and raw, cilantro and onions chopped and tortillas . Put the chicken in tortillas, top w cabbage, cilantro, and onion and a little hot sauce if you like and you have street tacos. Or my favorite, cheap cut pork chops, potatoes, cabbage, onion and cream of mushroom or Lipton onion soup. Brown pork chops, throw in deep baking dish, peel potatoes and cut in halves lengthwise, cut onions in fourths, add carrots if you like, cut cabbage in 4-8 pieces and throw all veggies on top of meat in baking pan, cover in cream of mushroom and water or Lipton soup and bake at 350 until meat falls apart or about 1-11/2 hrs. I love this one especially for big family. Easy, cheap, fast and feeds many. We used this one a lot during football, basketball, and baseball seasons.
