    I just wanted to let you know that I played All Summer Long/Sweet Home Alabama at my husbands funeral last month. It was so much like him when he was younger. He was only 53, and the love of my life. My knight on the white horse. We had only been married for 7 years but it was the best time of my life.

    Everybody at the funeral was shocked but he would have loved it. He was a big gentle man.

I am so sorry for you also. It does suck, big time. Do you cry a lot, I do everytime I look at anything. I wouldnt wish this on anybody. I know it happens everyday. I have lost family before but never like this. My first husband and I were divorced when he died, and it did hurt, but this is devastating. Glad you are here.

I too am a widow, My hubby died Sept. '07. It sucks sucks sucks. I played The stones, ZZ Top, and many of his favorite songs at the funeral. It was what we wanted and most people liked it. So sorry you are going thro this too. If you ever need to talk I am there. Hope you have a good support system around you of friends and family.
