Hey! Let me tell you something. I Just got back from a trip to Las Vegas to see the Kid Rock and Uncle Kracker concert. WOW! What a time I had! I have some pics and a couple short videos. I'll post them soon. Not now, gotta get some rest. All that Kid Rock and Uncle Kracker got me spinnin! Let me tell you what I remember before it starts to fade. Uncle Kracker and his band came out and did six or seven songs. Then, Tiger comes out and introduces Kid Rock and boom! Here out from the depths below comes Bobby Shazzam! It was an awesome show!
The world owes no one anything and I certainly cant Love away the pain and sickness that Edan(10 year old I love who is battling cancer) but I have the ability to talk to others and make people aware and ask for help so I am embarking on fund raising mission..
Edan dreams of Hawaii and the big island... I want to raise funds and send or take him away from the hospitals/ testing/ pain and agony of his every day life ..
I have been working non stop to set up a poker run set for sept 19th and I am certain it will be a great turn out, ofcourse it will only be the start of this mission and Im reaching out to ask for suggestions, input, or info and help..
Edan and I recently watched this dvd the secret(by rhonda bryne) and wow what an inspiration and idea we got from that was this.
Sell gratitude rocks as a means of rasing funds.. sooo Edan and I are at the river banks and the shores of lakes in the area and picking and chosing special rocks to be sold as gratitude rocks..
any input as to how we can raise more funds please let me here from you..
if ever a great reason existed for rasing funds here it is.. a 10 year old hero who has suffered and lost his childhood to sickness..

yOur words of kindness and advice are appreciated and your right about the small businesses, I just met with a printing company to have fliers made for a poker run live music event I set for September 19th.2009
50/50 pay out poker run to tour thru 4 little towns and return to Live Music being played by local talent who donated services..
Lots of raffles, food prizes ect..
lot of work but every cent counts

Well Brandon, I'm from a small town and when our own need we like to put on chicken bbq's or spagetti dinners at the firehouses...My boss (grocery store) is constantly donating foods and drinks for these events. And I'm sure you can get a lot of places to donate things... We had a little boy 2 towns over.. He has a rare illness which at this moment escapes me. He needed to go overseas for a series of treatments that were not available in the U.S. We pulled it together by each surrounding town doing the above things.. We had a bake sales etc....Every dollar counts....Donations, Donations Donations.. Thats the key word.. so more money goes to the goal...Alot of stores will donate something. they need the write off..... I hope that helps...Good luck....
