Friendly Reminder for tonight

lol.. yea no shit, Angel.. I work a swing shift every week.. 2 nights are 3rd and 2 nights are on 2nd. I like 3rd because I get to lock myself in for the night and use the walk up window... don't have to go out unless I have to put the occasional rollaway or crib in a room. The place is full of stories. They try and make their money from the road workers or truckers coming in... or an occasional touring band that's broke all pulling in.. in one of them white cargo vans..lol. Matter of fact, the guys from the GnR tribute band from the first cruise came to Reading the one time.. and they stayed with us. Then the rest are local folks that can't get back on their feet enough to rent somewhere.. got a lady in the last room with a brain tumor who drinks old milwalki all day.. chain smokes.. just had to call the ambulance for her yesterday. Got another room packed to the gill with a poor family who just can't get on their feet.. the lil girl comes up and wants to play with me.. and I feel bad b/c it seems like all her parents do is push her away.. cuz mom's too busy smoking weed.. so she comes up and gives me the eye.. that nobody wants to play with her.. and like I said I feel so bad for her.. so I sit her down and play operation with her.. or yesterday we threw the ball back n fourth. Then on the back side we got a few retirees living there who think it's better to stay there then rent b/c everything's included and they don't have to worry about bills. But the crap you have to watch out for are the locals at night.. the crack prostitutes.. the drug deals.. shit.. just yesterday the full time night desk clerk told me that someone just went and gave him a rock as a tip. I was like.. are u f'ing kidding me ! I said too bad it wasn't a bud..lol What's more funny... is on the boat..Roger Alan Wade sang this song about a motel he was living at.. and I thought to myself.. omg.. that's the place I work at..lmao

Don't feel so bad... they just come on and I friggen missed it b/c this daam dude staying here at the hotel was trying to rap to me. I get all the weirdos up in here.. I had this one guy about a month ago call me up from his room and tell me he got his thing stuck in the drawer and wanted me to come help him get it out...lol. My boss laughs is arse off. This guy in here tonight asked me.. ain't I afraid of being here alone behind the counter.. I gave him an evil look and said NO.. and he's oh wow, really.. and I said.. cuz I'll knock them the f out if they try anything. Hoping that would make him leave... but no that must of excited him cuz he stayed even longer.. 'sigh' hope I can catch it again sometime
