    Flood victims

What a terrible natural tradegy in Iowa and along the Mississippi May God Bless all those who have been affected .I pray that we as Americans will all come together and help our fellow brothers/sisters. My prayers and thoughts are with all of you. Did anyone see the news today ? President Bush never mentioned the flood victims or a plan to address the issue but he did discuss drilling for oil off the Florida coast. Screw Bush let the drilling stay out of our natural waters drilling will kill our wildlife/destroy our water supply just for oil. Meanwhile the Bush family will get richer dont fall for it his last scheme to screw us once again. In the 70's gas was $3.66 a gallon and we had to wait in line based on license plate number then after the Iran war gas dropped to less than 90 cents a gallon for years. Americans need to educate themselves on this oil and drug game our government plays.

I've read several books on the subject. It's a rather daunting thing to think about.

While i can see your point of view i think it might be better to find ways to reduce our dependency on gas and other petrochemicals.

I am still in shock and embarrassed by how the last disaster like this (Katrina-New Orleans) was handled. I am not surprised that this latest wave of tragedy is being "handled" in a similar fashion.
Golly, if it doesn't affect you, does it really exist (rolls eyes)? So very very sad.
