why isn't the tour coming to Las Vegas?
I've come to see that not all Fans are alike. Surprized?? I've seen older peeps at shows , I'm talking over 65yr olds, I've seen young kids, under age 12, I've see guys/gals, I've seen crazy deck'd out in Kid Rock costumes fans, I've seen old school Kid Rock fans, I've seen average Joe fans>
I've seen the Fans who always always - if you look at video's of the cruise shows are at THE FRONT ALWAYS fans.
I've seen fans who show their boobs.
I've seen fans who show their Kid Rock Tats.
I've seen fans who think they are all that, you know the ones who call them selfs the "Four Timers", cause they been on EVERY KID ROCK CRUISE and think they deserve some sort of status - Shazam
I've seen fans who call others "Newbies"! cause the are new to being a Kid Rock fan.
I've seen fans who are in their 40's but act like they are still live'in in their teen years.
I've seen fans who drink alcohol like fish drinking water, who have to have other fans hold them up and walk them through their drunk.
I've seen artists who love the Man, and call themselves fans.
I've seen fans who bully other fans because they think they are better, at what? I don't know, but they think they are BETTER FANS
WHERE ARE YOU - WHAT CATAGORY? DID I LEAVE SOMETHING OUT?

Bob's fan base is one of the
Bob's fan base is one of the most diverse in the industry, and is an outstanding accomplishment earned with persistence and hard damn work. It is one of the best things about being a fan, that, and the way he and that fabulous band can mix it up on the stage.
I would love to but don't
I would love to but don't know how to get in as a newbie and thanks. I think I would fit right in too. My kinda peeps. Lol
Fans may come in all sizes,
Fans may come in all sizes, shapes, and different ages...but you aint never met a motherfucker quite like me.!
Amen
Im just ole school too.And In the very begining of this KR Ride. Its was 1999,I am short, and hair is long, and people thought I was going to be the biggest KR stalker ...EVER..............Laughs......Laughs Again........And 13 yrs later......Yep farthest thing from a stalker you woould ever find. And thank god for that, there are enough of em round here........RJ you neede to go on the cruise man!!!you would fit right in
Everyone fits.....every one.
Everyone fits.....every one.
43. Young fan, have a signed
43. Young fan, have a signed Kid Rock guitar and I do have posters and tshirts in my office. Lol. Don't go to every show or follow him around the world but do go to all of the local concerts I can. I'm not the oh he's so hot type fan, I'm married and love my spouse so that makes me the oh I really love his and TBT'S music. I refer to him as Bobby, Bob, Bobby Shazam, Kid, Kid Rock, Ricky Bobby but doesn't me I know him personally means I think of him as a person and not a total persona because his persona is a person.havent met him and haven't been on a cruise but would love to. Definately not a stalker, nor would I ever get any kind of tattoo . Sorry, I'm just old school.lol. Oh yeah and I'm old school in my mannerism and well educated w a strong personality. I don't like to give shit nor do I take it. I wouldn't say I love him or his music but I really like them and thoroughly enjoying going to the concerts, drinking more than I should although I always hold my own, and dancing until I can't move the next day. I guess what attracts me to the music like so many others is that it is music that almost anyone can relate to, tells a story that is familiar to most and life to some, makes us feel, tells a story that our words can't, and is just some kick ass music that I enjoy. I've never really liked a band/singer until Kid/TBT because they have such a vast amount of not only songs, but good songs. There's a difference. Oh, and I sometimes piss people off by telling it how I see it although that's not my intention.
You're right....I've seen all
You're right....I've seen all types. You sometimes have to wonder did these people stumble into the wrong place. We've seen every kinda people at concerts....from those who look like they belong at a swanky Florida retirement home to little people with tattoos! I mean, really, who else has that kind of appeal? I'm some what fascinated by this....so what kind of fan am I....well alright, can't believe I'm about to admit this but I'm 50! Just don't feel it in my heart. Kid Rock makes me happy.
Never flashed my tits.....too old. I can handle my liquor.....old enough. (Shhh....not a word from my friends) Not a newbie but don't claim to to know everything Kid Rock. Would never get a tat of his face.....I think that's kinda crazy.....just me, no offense to those who have. I just like to sing and dance and have fun and consider my self lucky to have met some of the best people in the world because of Mr Ritchie and the love of his music.
Don't claim to know him, but boy, every time you bring up his name someone claims to have a connection somehow, someway or know someone who knows someone who knows him....makes me laugh!
He does good things, I think that's cool and I respect that and him. Ps. He has a killer smile....gets me every time!
Thanks JustBecause- This just
Thanks JustBecause- This just gives everyone insight on what types of people - the different fans that follow TBT and dah "Kid". Kid does appeal to all ages, some fans LIVE him EVERYDAY~ as much as I love the man - I don't go to EVERY show, I don't have a Kid Rock room in my house, and I've not gone on every cruise- but never the less I'm still a fan. I've met Kid, but I don't claim to be his bestie bud. He is a very busy man with a career which he seems to thrive on in more ways than one. Makes me laugh too, some that get a picture with him> plaster it all over I get so tickled, I guess it makes them feel special, but each and everyone of us are special. You have a super day!!
48 year old fan....love the
48 year old fan....love the man, his beliefs and his music....Amen.
Thanks CinBad, to the point
Thanks CinBad, to the point and well understood!
40's but acting a fool cause
40's but acting a fool cause I am so excited to be there!!!
They even have a Kid Rock
They even have a Kid Rock saying painted on the drumset where the band plays on stage. Can't remember what it is though. It's been since last summer since I've been there.
Oh and they have a kick ass
Oh and they have a kick ass bar/ hamburger joint called Oggies across the lake and the sunsets w dinner and drinks are awesome there.
We can walk down to the lake
We can walk down to the lake lodge which is 3 houses down and see the new million dollar homes they just built around the corner. Oh, man they are beautiful! I love going on walks around the lake, it's so beautiful w deer, fox, roadrunners, and all kinds of wildlife. I take the English bulldogs I'm sitting for my son and my jack Russell's with me.
Oh and since the studio is in
Oh and since the studio is in the stockyards, we can go to the bars and tour stockyards. They have some fine cowboys, fine motorcycle groups-the store with the gang is right next door to my sons studio but I have to be good. But you don't hehehehe. Oh and there is Cattlemans restaurant and you don't need money. Just get yourself here and let me worry about the rest. Oh and cowboys new drive/walkthrough, they have any flavor frozen mixed drink and you just drive through and order what you want and you can get double or however many shots in it and they wrap it in a plastic bag so it's a closed container and we drive away and open immediately, told you I wasn't always good, then we finish them at the studio.
I'm thinking fishing,
I'm thinking fishing, swimming, going to the studio and making some funky music, playing basketball w bonfire out back, bringing you own spray paint to leave your mark on the wall, cookouts, eating out, hmmm what else can I think of?
Like I said good or bad , we
Like I said good or bad , we all are the same. Don't think for a moment that I'm always good. That would be an oxy moron. Bwahahaha!
~And I've learned that TRUE
~And I've learned that TRUE ~KrTbt Fans are the most creative Souls on the face of this planet. There are no other places like this one :-) We are TRULY BLESSED to have and inspire each other :-)
~Blessed to be there for each other as Friends---and as ~Family :-)
Makes me happy :-)
Me two,..We need a year book.
Me too,..We need a year book.
I've learned that together is
I've learned that together is the place to be.
And that place is not a place without BB!
I've learned that learning never stops
And if it does to worry.
I've learned to not worry about things that I cannot change
But try and change the things I could
I've learned that some things and people do not need to change
And that the only constant in life is change,
That and dying.
I've learned to live life like there's no tomorrow
To instead of learning to die, learning to live while dying.
I learned that there's nothing more important than family and good friends
And that good friends are hard to come by and when you get them , hold on to them.
I've learned that love is constantly trying
And that hate is constantly dying
I've learned to bite my tongue when it's important,
Boy that one still gets me
I've learned to think before speaking
I've learned that thoughts without action are just thoughts or ideas
I've learned to work hard, play hard, and love hard
I've learned that you can't please everyone so sometimes you need to learn to please yourself
I've learned that everyone has there place in life, good or bad
I've learned that all people are equal no matter their color, socioeconomic status, culture
I've learned to identify good people as well as bad and keep the good ones near.
This all came from my head thanks to BB and what she learned.
Thank you, you are a sweetheart as always.
Looking forward to July, offer still stands because anyone who's that good of a person always has a place with me.
You must know I struggle with
You must know I struggle with being good and sometimes Im not,.Thank you for the offer,.I just surly might.

I have learned that we believe it is a strength to conceal weakness.
I have learned that it is easy to want others to overlook our flaws as we expect perfection in them.
I have learned that it is hardest to show compassion and grant forgiveness to those closest to us.
I have learned that while curiosity is a strength it can also be a curse.
I have learned that we are creatures of habit.
I have learned that faith is a muscle.
I have learned that it is far easier to deny deity than to deny desire.
I have learned the mystery surrounding death forces a consideration of spiritual matters.
I have learned that observance of the Sabbath recalibrates perspective and improves judgment.
I have learned that most of us bear scars from the failure, disappointment, and fear in our lives. And, we prefer to wear long sleeves.
I have learned that to deal with life’s pain most of us choose one of the following: alcohol, drugs, pornography, or spirituality.
I have learned alcohol and drugs are the easiest path. As long as you’re willing to never stop drinking, smoking, or swallowing.
I have learned pornography is highly addictive and has nothing to do with sexual appetites and everything to do with escape. And that the habit is never overcome in isolation.
I have learned that we feel like a failure when we make mistakes even when we profess a belief that the purpose of this existence is to make and learn from them.
I have learned that forgiveness is the greatest gift we can offer someone. And ourselves.
I have learned that many know about Jesus Christ but more of us could make an effort to know Him.
I have learned that the strongest among us are those with the cleanest mirrors.
I have learned that the sins of parents profoundly affect children. And are often repeated by them.
I have learned that affection from parents profoundly affects children.
I have learned that most
I have learned that most communication between parents and children is what psychologists call “superficial.” Strong relationships are built on the “validating” variety.
I have learned that children desperately desire parents who listen.
I have learned that churches are not museums or catwalks for perfected saints but rather labs for sinners.
I have learned that “tolerate” and “love” are two very different verbs despite what popular culture professes.
I have learned that there’s more sadness in this world than I had realized.
I have learned there is more goodness in this world than I had realized.
I have learned that to be happy is a choice.
I have learned those preoccupied with serving others have less time to count their problems.
I have learned that a habit of one brief moment of spirituality a day can alter one’s entire direction.
I have learned that we want God to grant us space to make decisions but step in to stop others, nature, mortality, or illness from hurting us or those we love.
I have learned those who have made more mistakes have a great gift. Empathy. Now to the matter of searching out someone who hungers for it.
Indeed, I have learned I have much to learn.
Love this Shirlee. Did you
Love this Shirlee. Did you write it?
This was so good!
This was so good! Thanks for posting this Shirlee
Your More than Welcome
Your More than Welcome Outside The Box,.Thank you for the Thank yous,..I hope one day I have the pleasure to meet you in REAL LIFE.
All of those are very
All of those are very profound, true statements, Shirlee. Thank you for posting them. It takes a tremendous amount of courage and maturity for any person to live the life lessons that are printed above. For those struggling to do so, may we remember that God is the source of all goodness, gifts, and strength. We don't have to be perfect. I remember reading a passage that said, " I have learned to find perfection in imperfect things."
