I got scammed for 4 tix @ $150 ea too. We need to all stick together. Be sure to file a police report. This guy not only sold bogus tickets, he was selling the same section and seat # over and over again. I filed a police report with Sterling Heights where we met this guy. I did not question anything after he handed me the tix because they looked so authentic. We were so ready to party with the Kid and we were so bummed!

@ carrietimtrombley hoped you reported Cheli's to the police, probably Chris and the whole gang in on the scam, I'd phone up and ask to speak to Chris and tell him to refund your money, he hired the fag who sold you the tickets.

There stub tickets. Could be people traveling around. From what I've heard they took quite a few people yesterday. Possibly 20k worth of tix. These glow blue like they should, they have perfect perforations, great ink, a sheen to the front, good and different advertisment on the backs but the box office guy told us that two numbers on the left side needed to match up with other number on the ticket and I'm not really sure which numbers those are. These cons produced some really good counterfeits so maybe the best advice is to hit your local venue box office and simply ask them. If they know their business they should be able to tell you if they're real or not. Good luck, I'm sure it will be a great show.

The system for buying concert tickets is completely flawed. That's the underlying problem that no one is talking about. When big ticket brokers, radio stations and venue/promoter personnel are allowed to lock down hundreds and thousands of tickets before the common schmo even has a chance it opens the door for ass holes to scam the honest people who can't afford 4 times face value for a rock concert. Bob, if you read any of this I've got some thoughts brother. You said in your blog that if anyone has ideas to let you know. Well, you've now got the clout and the wherewithal to implement some new ticketing systems so give me an ear and I'll give you some ideas. Pearl Jam flipped off Ticketmaster, you certainly could too. We all know that the last thing you want at your concerts is for a bunch of hard working people to be left out in the cold or get ripped off by jack-asses using and exploiting your name. I heard it was a great show. Would've loved to have been there. Still had a great time in the D though.

It happened to us too! We paid $300 for both and then they wouldn't scan at the gate. We bought them from the BATHROOM ATTENDANT AT CHELIS CHILI BAR. We thought we would be safe because he worked there, but we were wrong. Obviously security is in on the scam too because when we went back to get our money security wouldn't even let us in...highly pissed and making sure everyone knows about it.
