So, Friday night after we had our 'first family road trip' we had a real wake up call. The 'D-Tribe' went to watch my #2 son's football game in the rain! in Green Bay their Homecoming, we lost :( When we came back into town afterward, my youngest son (17 1/2) went to a friend's house. They were having a little Friday night 'get-together'. We all remember those days/nights...Right?...or maybe not-so-much !! Any way, to make a short story short...My son's' drink was 'laced'. He was OD'd. He barely got a message out to my daughter, for a ride. I spoke to him briefly, if you can call it speaking...and knew "this is it" ... I was losing him. Within 1 minute from his last call, I found the house by the Grace of God! The kids denied he was there, that they even knew him or who he was. Momma was on a 'mission'. I pushed through all their bs, found my son upstairs, collapsed face down, 15 ft away from the 'partiers' who were all still standing, talking, and doing fine. All except my son. He had been in that house 1 hour and 10 min when he made the first call for a pick up. Even he didnt realize what was going down...him... and Fast!! It was 3 min from the time I spoke to him 'til I found him. And 7 min 'til the ambulance reached us. The kids all ran when I called 911, all except the girl whose party it was. She stood at the foot of the stairs and lied to the police about us being upstairs or 'anyone' needing help or calling them. They finally pounded on the downstairs door attempting to enter, I got the hint; I started screaming for "Help!!!" so they could get in. For 7 min all the girl did was try to force me to leave my son there in a collapsed state. She had not one fraction of a breath of concern for him - nothing.
Timeline:
10:10 pm dropped off
after spending entire night with family at High School football game.
11:20 called sister for a ride home.
11:20 I received txt from her to pick him up.
11:29 I was waiting for him to come out; at a 4 corner intersection, middle of town.
- He told his sister he would be waiting outside.
11:30 I called him, he could barely respond, connection lost.
11:31 I called him back desperately trying to find out where he was.
All he said was " up north west mom I can't "
and he was gone.
He didn't hang up , he was just gone.
1 hour and 27 min.
would have stolen my son away; but for the Grace of the Lord our God!.
These kids would have let him die.
Stood by, done nothing to help, and just let/made him die.
PAY ATTENTION !!!
WORKING CELL PHONES !!! WITHTRACKING ON !!!

D, Thank God you were able to get to him so quickly! I do not have any children, however; most of my friends have teenagers or preteens and it scares the hell out of me whenever I hear sirens or watch new breaking headlines on the news! HI Beckxy, Thank you for your note :) That just brought me to tears. I just heard on CNN that 11 girls, from WA needed hospitalization after their drinks were drugged with "roofies" at a house party. And all this after I was feeling unsettled 'bout 'bringin drama' to The KID'S website. Sur never intended to bring on weight at such an EXCITING time in his Life and Future :) If I have offended anyone, I sincerely apologize.

I believed this did not happen just to affect our small circle in life.
I prayed that: by sharring this, if even one outcome could be changed,,. bring one thought of Faith, or the slightest ray of Hope, then i have Listened
