Ok so dont call me crazy but does kid have a tattoo on his hand? When i first saw it i wasnt sure what it was, but after looking at different pictures i think i saw a star. Can any body help me at all?? I was lookin at the wedding pictures posted by Ronny and saw the the tattoo on his hand but im still not sure what it is. Oh and what is the tattoo on his left arm all about?? (not the one that says "PAUL"), so if any body could help me out i would really appriciate it. thanks -AMBER

MsBehavin, we drove up to Copper Country until the road ended (which it does, gang, lol!) Crazy!
I'm not from the UP, but I spend a lot of time in Rapid River, Little Bay de Noc, love it. We will probably retire there.
It's not everyone's cup of tea, but it's mine. No shopping, makeup optional, beautiful scenery and peace.
I think if I got one on my hand to rep the area that I am from....it would hurt like a mother... Tip of the ring finger...ouch! However... never say never....lol
Thanks Msbehavin. Not that he can correct it if it's wrong! Copper country is beautiful. We camped on our honeymoon in the UP...Porcupine Mountain, Copper Harbour...
Just Because :-) i have this ~Super-Model looking Friend from Brazil---she speaks like 4 languages---and i am pretty sure that one of them is Latin--lol---
i'll ask ~Maria~ tomorrow---i help her with the English slang---and she helps me with having some high-class ~culture---and to quit telling people to bite the big one--- lol :-)
i seriously learned something new today :-)
i never knew that star represented Detroit---duhhhh--lol :-)
i need to get one on my left thumb to represent the Keewenaw Peninsula (my Parents will kill me if i spelled it wrong-and i think i did!!!!!!---lol :-)--God's Country :-) the Copper Country :-)
This thread is ULTRA COOL :-) Thank You Guys :-)
who speaks Latin? LMAO!
KRLO: Both my kids have tattoos. Got them the day they turned eighteen! I cried when my daughter showed me. She's my oldest. Couldn't believe it...like when did you decide this?? After I calmed down it wasn't that bad. Kinda cool...music symbols that form a heart. Now the pot leaf behind her ear is another story! My son's tattoos are Latin for "Hope" and "Grace". Again, thoughtful and kinda cool...just hoping translation/spelling are correct. Then again, who will know...who speaks Latin?
Ajay, that is funny, I have no tattoos, don't really want any, don't have anything against them, in fact I've seen some that are just beautiful artwork. I told my kids however, they will NOT get one till they are COMPLETELY on their own. I want them to make that decision w/ their own expendable money, not mine, it is a lifetime decision, It is their decision, not mine at that point. My husband has hired numerous people w/ a lot of tattoos and has not one problem w/ it. He says if they are the best qualified, they get hired, he does not care about tattoos. Times are changing,.
says to RSMS> You crack me the hell up with that scared to get one stuff. The question is do you really want a tattoo? If you really do that won't deter you. I have a few but they are all placed in areas i can easily cover for my work etc..OR if i don't want anyone to see them. Remember it is a choice and only yours to make. Once on they are there and pretty damn expensive to remove or basically for life unless removed....
Im going to get a star on my right hand this afternoon. I Love You
All I know is tattoo's on bad boys are just too perfect of a combo....
Rocksavedmysoul: I have a tat on my ankle, my one and only...no one ever really sees it. I got it about 4 months ago, and it wasn't so bad on the pain, certainly not painful enough to be afraid of going for it! I look at it this way, its a ton less painful than childbirth :-) I only regret that I waited so long to get it...
It's a Michigan thang, you can meet a fellow Michigander anywhere in the world, and we each show where we are from, by pointing to our hand. We are the Mitten State. UP is harder to do, it is a rabbit. Quirky I know, but we call Soda, a Pop, and we call liquor stores, party stores.
I'm too chicken to get a tat but I use a permanent marker and make a star on my hand before each concert.
Hi Amber,
Each member Kid Rock band TBT has a star on their hand representing where they are from. Something about the hand being a map and the star represents Detroit for Kid.
I was there when he got it
star
Us Michiganders raise our hand and point to the location in which we live- representing the mitten lol,and yes Dee is correct its a star on Detroits location
its a star . its location represents Detroit...
