    When will the 3 day Detroit concerts go on sale , it is the best part of summer. Where will it be, comerica or dte?
    Every year I go to ticket master as soon as they go on sale and good seats already sold out !

Seems like they always wait on the Detroit shows until about June. We normally have our summer planned out way in advance with camping plans - so we are always scrambling to get things worked out!

I just watched the Comerica announcement from last year on youtube and tickets went on sale Saturday, June 12 for the August, 2011 Comerica shows.

My guess would be DTE this year and that it will be on Saturday, August 18. There is a gap in the DTE schedule between August 18 - 24.

If you are a member on here, they will send you an email when the KRC pre-sale is. However, sometimes they don't give much notice - like less then 24 hours.

If you want to know early - stay on here - this place blows up when the touring info gets released. You could also go to Ticketmaster and you can request info for certain artists and venues. They send an automated email too.

Belle Island??? DTE is a wonderful Venue- I've loved it for years. Co-Bo Hall --- once re-done should make for a great place for Kid Concert.

I would bet it would be DTE this year.

He has said that the Comerica shows are difficult to coordinate because of setting up the stage, flooring, etc. DTE is all set up and ready to go. Since he's only doing a few shows this summer, I'm sure he will go with the easy route. Why not?

I still love the name "Pine Knob"...but I'm getting used to DTE.

Did I miss the announcement of a Detroit show? I went to Comerica last Summer, but didn't know there would be one this year! YAY, if it is true! I don't care if it is at Comerica, Cobo (just for old time sake, that might be fun) or DTE/Pine Knob. It would make my Summer if I could go to another concert!

I know ! Dte is the best. It's just a great atmosphere. But I'm afraid he won't have it there because comerica park probably holds 4 times the people ! Does any one know when tickets go on sale ?
