Dear Kid Rock:

Sorry I am behind on this month's letter. It's not from being lazy, ok maybe it is a little. But it's mostly because I seem to be short on time these days. I have been working, going to grad school, running a household and raising children. I am sure that's nothing like maintaining your schedule so I'll stop bitching about not having time to write, and write.

Just because I haven't posted this blog doesn't mean I wasn't watching what you've been up to lately. I saw your appearance on the David Letterman show . You know I love ya Rock, but comb your hair boy when you go on TV, and what's up with that chain you've been wearing? It look like something Rev Run would have worn in 1985!. Just kiddingSeriously, I loved the interview and of course All Summer Long was awesome. The video is equally as impressive. I think I said before, but any day with you on a boat, not wearing a shirt is a good day. Thank God for YouTube!

I received the notice from the fan club website that the presale tickets for Cincinnati went on sale this week. I've been scouting for friends to go with me but so far, no takers. August is a long time away and life stinks. Looks like I might not be able to make it. I would love to add Cincinnati to my locations I've seen your shows but it's going to take a miracle for that to happen this summer. Cincinnati is my second home but nothing would compare to seeing your hometown show in the D. Someday, I will make one, I know it.

Dylan's last day of school is tomorrow. I know he's glad it's summertime. I hope he has a great summer. You have some serious competition where Dylan is concerned. You know he loves ya but lately his really been into AC/DCSince getting his new guitar he hops around like Angus.hilarious! He's still very proud of the autograph, it is proudly displayed, right in the foyer of the house. We love it cause Dylan's friends' parents will come over or something and they are usually surprised to see a Kid Rock autograph mixed in with the family portraits. (smiles)

Had to take a break in writing this time. Eric was jealous when he saw me working on it. It's so cute that he's actually jealous. He kept saying stuff like..Dear Jenna Jameson.He's going to start posting blogs to her.
