You are a good guy, Brent!!!
I bet there were a lot of disappointed people- and most of THEM probably didn't even have a sweet baby consolation prize, so I think you still made out on the deal :-)
Here's the good news- all the fireworks are 50% off now...I always pick up our stuff the day after the 4th and save it to spice up our block party (okay, I guess it's a little too spicy when the cops show up....).
All the best to you-
well i see you point, i guess it was meant to be, but i still am not happy:( and i do miss my wife she is the best...lol there we are all happy..
Hey! You forgot to mention how much you missed your wife!!! lol Just giving you crap- my hubby wouldn'ta thought of that either!
Bummer about no fireworks - I think the baby would've been upset by the noise too- and then you'd never be able to go to the fireworks again (at least not without a screaming kid!)! So, perhaps it was meant to be....
...and while you're bummed no to see things burn and explode.....I dare suggest you still had a beautiful baby to hold in your arms...which beats fireworks anyday for me.
Wishing you a great Sunday afternoon :-)
Don't worry. we didn't have one either. We are stationed overseas, and for some reason they didn't make anything here to celebrate 4th of July. Maybe because all the guys are in Iraq and the families don't count. That sucks!! I thought the same thing .... Next year!!!
