You know what Kay heres my opinion on your opinion.. I understand your aggrevation. I too am a die hard Kid Rock fan. I had surgery and couldnt go on the 1st one. I tried to get them money to go on the second one after another surgery. I finally got on the 3rd one and now this one. Quit whining and go to Chillin the Most page early and check it alot!!!! Thats how I saw it! I didnt get my notice from the fan club until I had already signed up for the presale!!! I like the Veteran status and I will continue to HOG my spot every effing year and you dont like it well tough. Why dont you quit posting crap on here and trying to out people on the other groups or your gonna be one lonely girl on the outside looking in!

Still think a solution to this is if Bob announced the fifth cruise would be booked totally by lottery of KRC fans. Inherently fair, each person has an equal opportunity to go.
If folks knew they had a decent shot for the fifth as first time goers, they could save ahead, and be ready for a slot OR the waiting list.
Those who have been multiple times with mates and guests sure demonstrate to me that the economy is very strong for most of the boat goers. And God Bless, because y'all worked hard for that money I am sure.
At this point, though, I'd like to see the cruise work to pick up those who if given the opportunity to go the first time, would surrender their eyeteeth, lol. Those for which this cruise would be a once and a lifetime opportunity. Those who might need extra or smaller payments to make the final cut. Maybe some of the room costs could be lowered to allow those at a lower income to go?
Surely you folks can see that point of view?

My wife & I had saved up
My wife & I had saved up since January to sail this year, but by the time it got to our KRC presale time, the ship was booked. We're bummed, but I certainly don't have any ill regard against those that are sailing. Loyalty has always been a trait of KR fans, why not extend that to CTM vets as well? We're on the waiting list and hope to sail in '13. If not, there's always '14!

This is NOT a vetran or newbie thing. ALL cruise lines and affiliated companies, have loyalty programs. The more you sail the more loyalty you earn. It's just that simple. Avoid the divide, it's not condusive to keeping the family together.

To reiterate: the waiting list works. Get on it. There is also Roxy's advice: people do look for roomies on Facebook and here on this site. Be tenacious if you want to get on that boat.
Change of Cruise Lines had a
Change of Cruise Lines had a hugh impact on how many people could cruise. This ship has an entire floor of private villas. This takes away from cabins that were available on the previous sailings. But this is understandable after what I witnessed last year with Kracker on the Lido deck. People just felt the need to stick whatever body part in his face asking for pictures regardless that his family ( wife ) were right there. Finally they had to tell peeps no more after 4 hours of that. All in all he was a good sport. But that must get old. You could tell he was embarrassed with all the crap going on in the hot tub. Sixthman and Carnival did a horrible job at controlling this type of behavior. From what I understand there is a private area hottub available for those who wish to bear it all. Sex in front of 2000 other cruisers is not my cup of tea ( Just saying ). Hopefully it stays on that deck.

47% - newbies
Now the 47% of newbies from last year are now alumni and this will grow every year as the fan base gets larger. This is really a no win situation for everyone. It is just like trying to get tickets to a concert. Kid Rock just plain sells out. I think if he had two boats to accomodate all the first timers and alumni it would never be enough. Eventually he could fill a boat with all newbies and another one with alumni and someone would get the short end of the stick. Then he would need to fill a 3rd boat for all the run overs. So many peeps were hoarse and couldn't even talk (Poor Kracker). Even Kid's voice was hoarse by Saturday. Sorry I do not see a win win solution for this but I am certainly not the expert at organizing such an adventure. I must admit that I was not going to book again this year but changed my mind as we were in such awh of being there we did not organize and plan our days. So much to do and so little time. I could not get off the work schedule and was up by 5am everyday. Most peeps were just going to bed at that time. LOL. I hope that everyone will get to experience this at some time. My husband is staying home this time as this is far too expensive for both of us to go yearly. My personal opinion is that after this year if I plan my days well I will really see no need to go the 3rd year and this will open up a spot for someone else. But I am just one person with roomies so that is not a guarantee that a spot will open for a new cruiser. For every one person who decides not to go there are probably 10 who want that spot. Policies can be changed,
Policies can be changed, especially if enough complain. If it becomes apparent to Bob and Sixthman that the seniority approach is not conducive to getting a full mix of KRC members and new blood on the boat, it will be changed in the next cruise. The only way he will realize that is if folks complain.
Still agree that due to ease of booking and those cost savings, it makes sense to give a majority of tickets to those with seniority. But, not all of the tickets. A portion should always be set aside for first time KRC members and new folks, just as a matter of principle.
Respect and courtesy can still be maintained in a complaint, and most here manage it perfectly well.
These cruises may total into 4 or 5 lifetime events, not in any way comparable to a year in year out season ticket situation.
I'd like to see the next cruise be a first come first serve arrangement for all KRC members equally.

im not casting stones at anybody just stating what I done..enjoyed some great moments and since there was NO WAY that cruise could EVER be TOPPED . My Hub and I just said We should let others experience the Cruise like we did. Ive always been a sharer of things. one bag of candy took one piece and passed it on. It Merely How I was raised is all ~ Lets face it I love the fact that all of us share alittle of BOB..I think ALL of BOB ALL the time would be Quite a challenge and HARD to Keep up with..he has the energy of 10 men ya know :)

I do agree that respect and courtesy are very important qualities. And it is a given that if you post here long enough, someone will be critical in a comment (I've been called 'another ignorant Republican', asked to 'shut up and make me a sammich, biatch'--lol, VideoAce rescued me on that one--miss him, and 'spoiled Catholic girl'-guilty as charged, but I'm low maintenace ;) ) Honestly, I've laughed my ass off at the comments.
Hopefully nobody intended to make the comparison of the cruise alumni to the concert 'push their way to the front' A-holes, or even hogs....the 3 and 4 timers have every right to take their place-sorry if you do not agree. Ask the Green Bay fans at Lambeau Field how they feel that generations of fans have held tickets for decades..should they give their spot up to make it 'even' for those who covet their seat? Not going to happen. Sometimes life works that way. Not saying it is going to make everyone happy.
A lottery for spots could appease some--but I'm still saying some opportunities will still be there for ppl who want to get on the boat. Is it stressful to wait? Yep. Most limited engagement gigs are if you are waiting for a spot; nobody can change that. Stress is a part of life. You can roll with it, and try to turn it to your advantage, or not.
We are all Kid Rock fans here, so we're all on the same 'team', right??

I am sure Cheryl meant well, and she is trying to help. She always tries to help and that is sweet, and appreciated.
I get antsy when folks start telling other folks not to complain, because fans here assume complaints are negative and respond quickly negatively to them without thinking it through. Instructing folks not to express their displeasure with the process because they might be on the boat with alumni thus "throwing stones" is a bad idea and is an intimidating statement.
They have just as much right to come here to complain about cruise boarding criteria as they do by contacting Sixthman. In fact, here is the better spot because this is quality control and monitored by Bob's peeps.

In every project, everyone involved needs to feel safe to provide both positive and critical input. It happens everywhere, and the critical truth has a better track record of getting those in charge to change procedures.

suck it up buttercup life isnt fair everyone has a point of view doent mean any of them are "correct" im sorry you havent got to go as of yet, but staying positve will get you on sooner than being a but head about the whole thing. so do you whine to coworkers that other peeps make more money or get better perks when they have senority over you. also ? perhaps you killed jimmy hoffa ? senority should count for some thing, dont you think ? and there are alot of krc 1st timers that are booked so evidentally you didnt sign up as soon as you could have since they got booked and you dint so maybe you should be kicking your own ass instead of whining "its not fair" when it is

It happens every concert - those fans who push their way to the front, mindless of others around them. Its Respect that as idividuals that we need to show each other. Curtosy also plays in the mix, be nice to those around you, don't hog, don't push, and give consideration to those who only wish to get their chance. I've run across some fans who think that because they are "3" Timers they are better than the next fan who steps up. I feel sorry Kid has to witness his fans acting so rudely and dis-respectful. Its great that you 3 Times and now approaching "4" Timers have had the chance of a LifeTime to cruise and listen to some awesome Music. But take a step down and appreciate that Kid has MANY FANS and just because it may be their first or just because for some reason a Fan was only able to go on 2 and not 3 crusies-- don't throw your boasts in others faces. Please - Respect one another for we each contribute to this Planet One soul at a time......
And please don't buy a whole cabin at 6th mans agreed upon price > to sell later down the road at a higher cost to a fan wanting on the ship.

I am speaking as we because there are 6 of us in our group who are going for the second time. Three in our group are newbies. So that is a total of 9. With two on waiting list. SO I HAVE NO REMORSE. Yes ME, MY SELF AND I. We (6) were newbies last year, including, ME MYSELF AND I. I guess we along with ME, MYSELF AND I felt the same way the previous years but did not slam peeps who were going. For anyone to come on here come on start a discussion as you can see above where it was stated we deserve (meaning I) a chance and this is unfair and to f that shit. Seriously, ME, MYSELF AND I, can speak as (we)because I know our group enough to state this. Sixthman Lisa is open to any discussion that people have regarding how things can be done differently. Maybe that is were this frustration could be vented if it is a good idea they will adopt it. So you may think I am presumptuous so be it. Me, myself and I are sailing along with the other we's and not slamming others who did not make it as we, including me, myself and I walked the walk previously.
