Kid rock would you please come to the south with this concert. I have seen you in Nashville and Memphis. We just love you and your show so much we feel like you are leaving us out of this less expensive tour. Please if you get this consider it !!!

Summer event season is in full swing in the Quad City area. And as the events go on, so does severe weather.
Event organizers must plan for any possible weather conditions. Burlington Steamboat Days President and Des Moines County Sheriff, Mike Johnson, said organizers run through exercises with emergency management crews.
"We think of all possible scenarios that could happen at Steamboat Days," he said.

It's 10, I went there today after getting my jersey and asked at the window.
Does anyone know what your suppose to bring to will call, when you go to pick up your tickets??? I deleted my email from them by accident. Is it just your ID and your credit card you used to pay for your tickets????
I called Comerica Park about an hour ago and was told Fan Club members can pick up tickets to tomorrow's show starting at 10 a.m.
I really hope it is 10am. The day tickets were release for club fans there was something about the earliest tickets could be picked up was 10am the day of the concert. I'm planning on heading downtown in the am going home and then back again just to avoid the mess at the box office.

When I purchased my tix, they stated we will receive an e-mail the week of. It's Tuesday and I need to plan my day accordingly as I have rented a bus with 30 of my closest friends and prefer not to be standing in a line hours before the show. I called the box office twice last week (spoke to 2 different) people and they both said I could pick my tix up at any time. I left work early on Friday and Comerica said NO! So hopefully we will all know something soon... I'd prefer 10 a.m. too! :)
JanMCK1023, did you happen to ask about cameras, I called Comerica at 313-471-2661, not sure if that is the number you called. I have gotten 4 different answers about cameras, kinda frustrating but if I can't bring a camera in, no big deal, still will be great memories.

Friday is going to be insane, concert crowd, lions crowd, the non ticket crowd that goes down to hang out and listen, the lions crowd who hangs out after the game to listen, excited but hopin its not a huge head ache
I really hope they open at 10 because 2 hrs before just aint right. Too many other things to do down town that you don't want to waste that time standing in line. So if anyone knows for sure pass the info along please.

I gotta agree people, the closer it gets to friday the more misinformation seems to be out there, at this point it sounds like its going to be a major cluster f***, i hope some CORRECT info shows up soon
@Amber, I saw that also (Lions preseason), Lions fans, me included are very excited for the upcoming season, so I'm sure there will be a ton of Lions fans coming to hang w/ KR fans that day. Hope Comerica is taking that into consideration.
Yeah..this would be good info to know. I'm sure the Fan Club will post and/or email when they are 100% certain.
PS- There is a Lions preseason game on Friday, Aug 12th at 7:30...its going to be PACKED downtown. The earlier Will Call opens the better!!!
I just got off the phone with a man named Scott from Comerica and he said that tickets will be available starting at 10am on the day of the show. Seems that we are getting 2 different answers now. Ugh!
I called the box office yesterday and was told that they "think" will call will open 2 hrs before concert and no tickets will be available until then. I am hoping this is not true and am going to call again next week. If someone hears something different; please post!
the lack of info has me worried and its only a week away, Comerica park seems to have no info what so ever, its like he rented comerica for the weekend to do whatever he wants and they have no knowledge of whats goin on
I swear I heard from the WebCrew that will call is available when the box office opens. I have been calling about cameras being allowed, but having a hard time getting an answer. Maybe now that the Tigs are out of town, Comerica will be more available to answer questions.
i saw that too on the comerica park website...just wasnt sure if it only applied to tiger's games
Heard earlier that the will call opens when Comerica's box office opens which is at 10AM, I think, Comerica has an FAQ at tigers.com.
