What up Kid Rockers
Just got back from our road trip to see Kid Rock in North Dakota....wanted to party with the people of MINOT and did a little....We wore our KID ROCK CRUISE shirts and not a single person we talked to knew about the cruise....might be more then one person on the boat next year from North Dakota now....
Travelled through Deadwood S.D. and lost our ass at the casinos....drove to MINOT the next day....partyed in the beer garden....(since nobody on here knew a place to go before) and then watched an incredible show......Love that he mostly played the old stuff..... Partyed inside with the North Dakotan's. We went through a lot of beer....Had a few people come up and ask me if I knew every word to every song.....could tell they didn't all know the old, good, stuff....However they loved Cowboy....WHO DOESN"T???????? Wish I could have bought the not touring this year tour shirt but they didn't have my size....my wife got one...
Headed back through STERGIS and saw Emmit at the Full Throtle Saloon....what a cool place and a cute ass....(emmit is a Donkey for those who don't know).. Then went to Mt. Rushmore, Crazy Horse and Bear country....what a great trip......
The best was the show, the worst was losing money, the other stuff was cool as hell......

Wow......what a story....
Wow......what a story.....your right about most people had NOOOOOO clue about who Kid Rock is....where he is from and any of his songs..... like I said earlier most people wondered how I knew most every word for every song.........your right about many people being rude and sorry to hear about the assult, some dumb asses don;t know how to act at a concert....You have to figure the only time they have concerts is during their state fair......Did you see how much beer was drank???? A crap load....couldn't believe how drunk alot of poeple were.....We moved back for that very reason...dumb shits that couldn't hold their beer. However....we did meet some cool people in Minot....not saying I would go back again either, but some of the people were very nice. You need to come check him out in ASPEN.....That will be a awesome mellow show.....not on Kid Rocks part but I mean it will be partying and being cool........Mountain shows are just like that....not much if any fighting and most people are not assholes pushing their way to the front......Unlike in Minot where we were pushed alot....I don't mind in fact I mosh at heavy metal shows... but my wife hates the shit and we always end up moving back........... Still all in all Kid Rock is worth travelling to see...One other thing....last summer in Detroit we flew out and went to the show....thought Detroit would be rough downtown......WE LOVED IT and plan on going back....ALL The people we met there were nice and we partyed with some cool people.....Never had an issue we anybody......Just goes to show you there are crazy ass peoploe everywhere not just in big cities..
I would like to tell you
I would like to tell you about my trip from Boston to Minot to see him. Nobody around us knew anything about him or the old songs! One even asked "he's from Detroit?" Really???? The people of Minot are rude and violent! My sister and I was the victims of 2 unprovoked attacks on us. Where I was held by 2 men and the woman assaulted me , my sister was attacked by 2 woman. The reason you may ask?? While the 5 of them were pushing thru the crowd as can be expected they knocked me off balance when I regained my balance and told them to just move on. A drink was thrown into my face, I was punched then my arms were grabbed from behind by the men and the woman had an open canvas. I did try to do everything correct ie: go to security then was told to find a cop who did nothing but kisses and pictures thru the crowd. The cop witnessed the 2nd assault (they came looking for us at the end of the show) including myself being kicked in the head by the men who ran off. Two were led away in cuffs and released!!! I know since I filled out a police report and there was no report of the women being taken into custody.The head of security Ken Alexzander admitted to us as we stood there bloodied and bruised that they do not hire enough people to keep ANYONE safe! Nor did he offer medical help or directions to the medical tents. I was safer and enjoyed myself more in Detroit on the way out. I adore Kid Rock and admire him for what he does for his fans and would travel anywhere to see him NEVER again in Minot or North Dakota for that matter..

Sounds like you had one hell of a good time Woody..What a nice trip..Are you and the wife planning on going on the cruise this year?? I just booked my cabin a few hours ago, Can't wait to sail away!!!!!!!!!
