CHOICES ABOUT CONCERTskatzes says (22 Feb '13)Well I have a big choice to make for the Kid Rock concert upcoming on March 23rd in Columbus, Ohio. The choice is to got to the concert in which I got ticket for my wife(a huge Kid Rock fan) and I.(we are going with 2 other couple) or do I skip the concert and go to the Benefit for my brother.
On Jan. 12 my brother went to the local ER from there he was transfered to Ohio State University Hospitial. The next morning we went back to the hospitial and my sister-in-law came out of his room and told us the Dr just informed them he was in complete kidney failure and he was going to need a transplant. He was told he had FSGS and would be on dialysis 3days a week until he got a transplant if able to recieve one. He went into the hospital with no insurance and was denined medicare because he had to much money in the bank.
This bring me to the choice as my brothers employer (in which he has to stay off work for at least a yr) is throwing a benefit for my brother on March 23rd from 4pm to 10pm. I had bought the Kid Rock tickets way back in December before he went into the hospital. My brother says go to the concert but I feel I should be there for my brother let alone for my mom, who is having a rough time with the whole thing going on with my brother. I don't know what to do as my wife has been looking forward to the concert with em and our friends.5Filed Under: Express The Kid Rock In You!

If your brother is fine with it, go...but if the guilt is too much don't.
My Dad last fall was diagnosed with kidney failure & is getting prepped for dialysis, sucks....

blood runs deeper at least it does with me. its your choice untimeityly all I know if my great aunt passes I will be using the insurance on the tickets and not going.
