Blizzard conditions lead to fatal 100-vehicle accident in Stevensville

Michigan's latest snowstorm is responsible for a chain-reaction accident that affected nearly 100 vehicles and forced officials to close part of Interstate 94.State police shut down a six-mile stretch of the highway near Lake Michigan in Stevensville Sunday afternoon.
"I've seen some pretty involved crashes with a lot of vehicles but never one with this many vehicles at one time," said Matthew Churchill of Michigan State Police.

Just channel surfing and caught the tail end of the Top 40 Videos of 2008 on VH1. Obviously Im the only person in the world that hasnt seen (or heard) All Summer Long by Kid Rock. I heard the opening bars of the late, great Warren Zevons Werewolves of London and thought, who sampled Zevon? Im not a fan of sampling, as most songs today dont meet up to the standards, nor are they worthy to use "samples" of the great classics from the past.

This is an unbelievable amount of snowfall FOR VEGAS... the "Vegas valley" has not seen this type of snowfall
since the 1950's. To me, this proves globl warming in full force.I snapped this shot in my back yard... accumulated on my BBQ island. The valley is beautiful!

OK, on January 17, 1971 a very special and creative person was born. I believe his name was Robert J. Ritchie. So folks how are we all going to celebrate this special occasion? Maybe we will be invited to a party somewhere outside of Detroit Michigan. That probably won't happen but where do i send Kid Rock his birthday card? Someone help me?

Well its been a while . I have been busy with all kinds of stuff. hope everyone has a great Christmas. Had a lot of family stuff going on.
The weather here is not very good right now we had an ice storm, but we did not get as much as they said we would.
Our pecan tree has finally started to drop the pecans!!! So i have been busy getting my hubby to pick them up, I cant because of my back. Wish i could, i really miss doing all the stuff i use too.
