To Kids Michigan Fans how many would like to see this bike given away at a charity concert here in Mich with proceeds going to Motts Childrens hospital for kids with Cancer or another Michgian based Cancer org that needs help?

The chopper powered by a JIMS 131 cubic inch racing engine and Baker drivetrail is not just a show bike it ran a 1025 at Martin speedway last summer. If you would like to see this happen help vote for this project to end with Bob doing a Michigan based concert with ticket holders having a chance to win the bike.

Tried to get tickets to the concert tonight in Kansas City. I geuss if I want to pay 3 times the face value I can get nose bleed seats. Not happening. I have seen Kid Rock 8 times so I consider myself a loyal fan. I just went thru a divorce and when the tickets went on sale  it was right before Christmas so I had to choose tickets to Kid Rock or presents for my kids well guess what the kids had a nice Christmas. So I hope everyone has a great time at the concert and maybe all the ticket scalpers and ticket brokers can eat the cost of the tickets and rot in hell.

    Dear Ms. Carter,

Enclosed is a donation to The Rainbow Connection on behalf of the “Eye Candy Friday Club.” The Facebook group was “accidentally” started by three friends in September of 2009 after booking our first Kid Rock Chillin’ the Most Cruise. Essentially, it was three friends sharing pictures of Kid Rock each Friday on Facebook in anticipation of the cruise.

Kid Rock in chill mode — but still rockin'

    February 25, 2011

Even though it seems Kid Rock has been out of the music spotlight, he's been around. A more chilled-out version of his "American Bad Ass" self has been on the country music scene, doing more reflective music. His latest album, "Born Free," Rock says on his website, was inspired by the economic hardships in his hometown of Detroit and the down state of things in general.

But fans know where to find him, and they will be filing in to the United Center, with many more

To anyone and everyone. My wife turned me onto Kid Rock several years ago. Last night was my 4th show that I have seen him. I know, not a lot to compare to and for many of the core fans, not many shows. But I must admit, last night in Greensboro was probably one of the best "shows" that I have ever seen. Now I am 48 getting ready to turn 49 and have seen a LOT of concerts in my time. But as for going and having a great time, being entertained and listening to a true performer, I dont think I can recall one as good for a total package in my life.

Someone asked about Hiprockricy in another thread. I thought I'd post this in a separate discussion to catch people who may not have heard of Hiprockricy yet. they're a young (<20!) band in Michigan, and they're good!  so check them out. They have their own facebook page, and they have a link there for their demo that they put out a few months ago (was it Nov? I can't remember! I'm old.)

You can download the demo here:

Check out the songs "Change" and "Truth Is", they're my favorites.

    To get meet and greet

Oh the things I would do

    For me and my buddy

    She’s flying from Calgary, yahoo!

To give her the surprise of a visit with you guys

Would be an incomparable moment in time

We’d never forget, and cherish the day

To the ends of the earth I would climb

    To surprise her with tickets

    Those of the backstage kind

Oh, if this could fall into place

The planets would all be aligned

Can’t keep us from the show

    We’re ready to rock

    Would love to get backstage

    But time is running tick-tock

I’m searching for things to make you see

For the band to take some notice

    Maybe a pink tutu

    February 16, 2011

    by Cindy Watts

Kid Rock, Sheryl Crow, Luke Bryan, Gretchen Wilson and others will tape a network television special Thursday afternoon at Nashville Center Stage (514 8th Avenue S.). Specifics about the filming — like the name of the network and program — are hush-hush at the moment, but the public is invited to attend, and admission is free.

Filming begins at 12:30 p.m. with Bryan, with Crow and Kid Rock will follow at about 3 p.m.
