Great clip from tonite's interview. One thing not accounted for/discussed here...the cost of casualty insurance. It caused monster inflation, and is a major part of "do or not" as it varied by rating of act, venue and target audience. Wonder who is absorbing this hit. I get Bob is giving back, and taking a loss to do this, but.....cannot see this program going nationwide for other entertainers, $20 per show.

Ticketmaster and all others want to sell tickets, it does no one a lick of good if there are empty seats in the arena (not that us diehards won't 2:1 those babies in a hot sec, if they are front row close, lol).

Corporate takes a lot of tickets. The smooze. The day of the show, these folks must give back unused seating or risk censure. Get on the Ticketmaster site and ask for best available. You might stun yourself, and give the ticket you have to someone else, if for free, and that is good karma.

Also, those committed in presale with tickets may fail to pay for them.

Think it would cut down on a lot of confusion, stop folks from going to Artist Arena, when TopSpin is now the fan club.

If TopSpin has any questions about past membership, just give them the receipt from the card you paid with, which verifies membership, allows grandfathering, and gets folks on the presale bus with codes asap.
