I have been thinking about my Kids' bra post and wondered if the powers that be could do something similar, but different, for the cruise. Raffle tickets could be sold for items that Kid and the band members have signed like t-shirts, photos, guitar picks...stuff that the winners could easily pack in their carry on luggage as they head home. The money of course would go to the foundation. You know that the cruisers who won an item would cherish it and it wouldn't end up on ebay. A simple sign that has photos of each item would be all the advertising needed.

According to WJBK, Kid penned his name to a bra to help raise funds for the McLaren Macomb Healthcare Foundation. The foundation hosted BRAvo night last night that included an auction of celebrity-autographed and decorated bras. The event helps to fund free mammograms for the uninsured of Macomb County. Way to go Kid!

So, I have this new neighbor. He's house sitting for the people across the street who moved to Germany for three years. He's Chinese and speaks absolutely no English yet somehow he's become my "boyfriend" according to my kids and friends. He's always outside either smoking on the porch, pulling weeds, tending the landscaping...and the minute I step outside, he waves to me. It began as a simple wave that I naturally acknowledged by waving back. Now, it's like he's doing a frantic S.O.S. signal to catch my attention. It's very cute. I frantically wave back.

I have been seeing posts on facebook that Kid Rock will be on the air with the morning crew on WRIF this morning. The original post was posted on the wrif's page.

Excitement level aroused... what could it be?? Could there be a possible new album? - song to hear??? How about a big concert or tour announcement???

I guess we will find out soon enough :)

Kelly Parker is a single mom facing cancer and eviction from her Detroit home from the city itself. Her story can be found on Fox 2 Detroit. She purposely spray painted graffiti on her home to make her home less attractive to those who would like to bid on it at auction. Her neighbors support her. I heard on MOJO in the morning this morning that Kelly has started a facebook page called Help Kelly Parker and is desperate to be allowed, with her children, to continue living in her home. I suspect this story will go viral. Providence Hospital has confirmed Kelly is a cancer patient.

He really does put on a good show. I love how much fun he has on stage with the band and the crowd as well. As a Steve Miller fan, I think it's brilliant how he mingles The Joker with his NO Stranger to Shame song. I drove home singing, "I'm no stranger to shame..." Couldn't get that tune out of my head. It really is best live. I saw a whole bunch of people from the cruise there and as you all know, we truly are just one big dysfunctional family! Ty was under the weather so he didn't perform. Kracker is scheduled to appear as part of Brantley Gilbert's Hell on Wheels Tour this fall.
