I am so excited after meeting so many great KRC members at the Union I am jumping the gun and starting the cruise countdown. So here goes:
We are getting closer 175 days until we sail ! 4:00 pm Miami.

I have a curiosity question.
Having not been on any cruise before and I am wondering what to check in and boarding proceedure out of Miami is like.
I had someone tell me it is just like an airport but she didn't elaberate. Does that mean our carry on goes through x ray and we go through medal detectors. Do we empty our pockets and take off our shoes, if you're wearing any?
I think it will effect how we pack and what we carry on.

Can't wait for April. My niece and I are going again. We were on the first one in 2010. What an awsome time we had. And I wasn't the oldest or the fatest one there!!!
We have one open spot in our cabin. Does anyone need a ticket? If I get a name in before Jan. 25 there won't be any penalty. I called and they said there was no way for them to give me a name off the waiting list, but I could post it here. I just hate for the ticket to be wasted when there are people who really want to go.

I have these 2 small, very cool gifts I was going to give Bobolink on the boat (I know he doesn't need anything; these are just kinda neat.) For those who have been on the cruise before, what is the protocol for this? Leave it on the gift table (lol)?

I didn't know that Kid requested that no one post or take videos of the cruise, thanks to gbullock and k8 for enlightening me. Please respect the mans wishes, don't give the haters any ammunition. Not hat anything he would do would be that big a deal. Fuck if my son turned out as balanced as kid seems to be I'd be happier than a pig in shit, and I don't know any other rocker that would hold a yearly event like the kid rock cruise.
