On November first 2011 my Father in law was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. He was rushed to the hospital on Tuesday February 7th barely concience. On Wednesday he slipped into a full coma, due to a high amonia level. Ted and I arrived at his bedside late Wednesday evening. He was given medecine to lower his amonia level and on Saturday he opened his eyes and was able to respond to voices. We got our children on the phone and let them speak and say what they needed to say to their Grandfather. On Sunday he seemed to take a bit of a turn for the worse. As a family we decided to remove the tube but keep giving him his medecine and blood transfusions as needed. Ted and I drove back home on Monday. He slipped back into a coma and passed away on Tuesday (Valentines Day) at 9:25am. We are collecting contributions to help cover the cost of his services. Oh, Tammy, I'm so sorry. My father-in-law died about 16 hours after yours, also of cancer. We share your pain, and you and your family are so in our prayers that God will comfort you and restore your hope and joy and fill you with beautiful memories.

My heart goes out to y'all in this time of sorrow.. I just lost my father in Jan. to Stage 4 Lung Cancer ..He only lived 4 weeks after he was diagnosed ..He was a great man and I miss him so much...Cancer is a terrible disease... May God put his arms around you and comfort you and your family ....
