There's no reason to work for the man in this wonderful country of ours. Just met with my husbands , now my business partner to go over the details of the new company . He and my spouse ave been working on patents for sometime and he's has quite a few and other ventures and seeing how he has some free time now we decided upon our venture of passive income bringing in about 15 g a day to start. I'm gonna be busy doing the marketing portion since I have all the contacts until it gets going and off the ground and then well, fishing, writing a few songs.
Are you heading to Grand Junction to see Kid this Saturday night? How blessed would that Saturday be? :)
If you're heading there, why not do it up right with Skybox onstage seating...well,ok maybe not seated, it is Kid Rock :) so more likely dancing in front of your onstage!?! seat ;)
I have two Skybox tickets to sell for the price paid for them...$125 each...no scalping, just honest :) His skybox is already sold out so this is your chance!
And to boot I have two Uncle Kracker skybox seats ;) as well for $50 each. They would cost $60 at the gate. Bargain :)
OUCH!!! What a concert, best one yet, KID ROCk blew it up and shook the nation, outstanding performance at Boots & Hearts, the place was packed at just like true Canadain troopers no one gave a shit about the rain......Yehaw mother fuckers!!!!!
I'm 20 minutes down the road and wasn't missing this show neither !! Not the biggest country 'fan' myself but am very open minded when it comes to my music. That said we were in the pit at 11:00 am and held our ground all day and night inspite of what mother nature threw at us ... AND IT WAS WORTH EVERY MINUTE ! Your prayers must have been heard boomer cuz the rain did stop for Kid Rock and we were treated to a clear and star lit nite for his and TBT's performance. Kid Rock has been getting ravve reviews on the B@H facebook site too. Shout out to Kid and his band for coming out to this venue and hope ya'll come back reallll soon !!
Wow @ Canada Boomer what a nice review:)
@Trish 35 so nice that those people helped you stand your ground..."I like Kid Rock better than you" damn, what an idiot!
I was one of those people sitting in the rain Saturday at Boots and Hearts Festival.
I'm lucky enough to live a respectable walk through the woods to Mosport and wouldn't have missed this much world class talent in my back yard for the price of just one of them - even though I'm not a big country fan. Sheryl Crow (TROOPER for coming out on the catwalk in the middle of the downpour) and Alabama were worth the wait. But there was a rumour that Kid Rock was thinking of cancelling.
No!
Then...I saw a little helicopter fly in behind the stage during the Alabama performance and I knew he was here. I had a feeling we were about to have a special experience so I walked down from the hill to get as close as I could to the stage (without having some drunken cowboy take a swing at me.) I had been literally praying that the downpour would stop for his performance - a lot of people just got tired of being soaked and had already left.
The bedraggled, die hard, soaked fans who waited were privileged to see PURE MAGIC.
I've been thinking about what I saw all day - and I'm still seeing images of Kid Rock's performance in my mind. His verstaility on so many instruments, the unbelievable energy, the level of talent of the whole band, the seemless transitions between styles. The US/Canada flags together during the oncore.
What stuck most in my mind was that somehow I couldn't get a picture of Kid Rock on my phone no matter how close I was to the stage. What I kept seeing was a ball of bright light. He was mesmerizing. I could feel heart and energy.
I have been to lots of concerts but I've seen only one other artist who had this kind of audience connection/control - long gone Cat Stevens.
I am now a HUGE fan of Bob Ritchie aka Kid Rock. You've made me a real fan - somebody who grew up in the Sault listening to Motown from another Detroit era.
Thank you for coming to Canada and really showing up.
It was a joy to watch/listen to you! Come back soon.
i was right in the middle of the catwalk on the fence he performed right in front of me most of the night i had the most amazing time until some nasty girl came up to me and told me to give her my spot cause i look like a pushover and she was nasty about but all the people beside me and behind me told her to go the f away and i said thank you to all the strangers and they told me i decerve to be their cause iv been their as long as them and noone should push me outta their i was so gratful to them and she was swearing at me but the all the nice people chased her away she told me she likes kid rock better than me so she should have my spot
Thanks for posting. Nice article. Glad everyone enjoyed KR and TBT's. Had to laugh at the comment 'I don't like his attitude, but I like his music' (paraphrase)..I'm thinking that his attitude has improved over the years ;)
Alabama would have been a legendary band to see--so many hits.
