    I was stunned today when I went on stub hub to find MANY MANY excellent seats available up close for the concert at Ford Field. As a fan club member I went online at the presale and was able to get 4 tickets for the floor but was unable to get tickets close to the stage. Now I know why.......STUB HUB has them all. They still have over 150 seats up close to the stage and are selling them at outrageous prices. This is unfortunate for the fans and I am dissapointed in the whole process. There has to be a way to stop this from happening so that your true fans can get descent tickets. I saw your blog about what happenedand I was happy to see that you are upset about it as well. The best thing for you to do is call STUB HUB and buy them back out and give them to people who you know are fans from your fan page!

    Sorry to hear that a few bad apples have to spoil all of the fun! 

    I will NEVER buy anything from Stub Hub and will encourage everyone I know to not purchase from them either.

@ lisag67 I think it's because there were other pre-sales put on by different promoters. The others did not have a will call policy.( so i'm told) I also have seen tickets on ebay that were from the krc pre-sale. You have to meet the seller at the show to get the tickets..

I don't get how StubHub can sell these tickets...If they were bought through KRC pre sale, then all the tix will be at Will Call...How is that possible? I guess I am missing something here...

i dont think you will know about a 2nd show until the tickets officially go on sale saturday. im sure when, and if it sells out they will anounce a second show.

I so want to see Kid Rock! I too see the good seats at stub hub and since my IE 9 browser did not allow me access, I am so tempted to purchase from stub hub! How did so many get on that site??? I was read at 2:45 and tried until 4 pm with NO LUCK. Should I purchase from Stub Hub or wait for the second show? What if there is no second show??? Hlelp??

agrees with angel maybe they could set what kind of profit they could make out of selling tickets. so fans can still go and the company can stay affoat... I have a question what happens it they don't get sold do they lose money then...I often wondered that...

I have to say that I am impressed that KRC offered VIP tickets at regular price today. I was able to secure 2 seats in the VIP section. I must say thank you to the KRC for that.

However, as usual, there was still a mistake in the email that went out and after I purchased those tickets which were supposed to be in the first 5 rows, they were NOT.

KRC sent an email after the fact stating the error and offered to refund the tickets but that is still not the point. These glitches are what frustrate fans and turn them off.
I am excited to see the concert up close and personal and thank KRC for the extra opportunity.

Agreed!! I am a fan that is looking for tickets. Cant afford the VIP or the scalpers prices.
Contact me if you hear of any extra tickets from someone not trying to get rich.
Have fun, should be quite a par-tay!!!!

I totally blame Stub hub. It should be a Federal law that you can not sell tickets for higher than face value!

The only thing that could be done which would be extremely time consuming while entering a concert, would be the purchaser of the tickets has to attend the concert and show id. That would stop all of the scalping of tickets. Unfortunately, you can't blame Stub Hub. Regular people can put their tickets out there to sell and Stub Hub gets a percentage. As it gets closer to the concert, people will be begin lowering their ticket prices and start hoping they don't get stuck with them. I hope all scalpers get stuck and maybe those of us in the lower bowl can move closer to the stage! :)
