Google likes "Rebel Soul" so much, they've included it in their Great Summertime Albums list,

I see a lot of references online to a "sample" in Early Morning Stone Pimp from a song called "Boogie Drama" by JOhn Lee Hooker. But I can't find that actual song at all. There is "Boogie Chillun" but not drama, and "Boogie Chillun" doesn't seem to have anything to do with EMSP. anyone know what this reference is and why so many places list it as a song?
here is the "Boogie Chillun" song: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eM3PuXDpKiA
and here is one of the places where "Boogie Drama" is listed as a song title (scroll down to "references"): http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_History_of_Rock

:-) thanks guys~
yeah, he said it a lot and it does seem to be connected to Hooker (john lee, that is). I"ll keep asking until I find someone who knows.
its hard to research cause there is an Italian group named Boogie Drama that does house music so any search that I use that doesn't have Kid Rock in it has that band come up. but its a recent band, not something that came before KR so it does me no good. and I can't find any other song by that name.
so many questions... so few people who know! lol
Sorry Jade, I haven't a clue.
all i can figure is that the reference is just about john lee hooker and his bluesy/boogie style of playing
I went to your site & looked at the lyrics, he says it a lot...cool website btw:) somebodies got to know what it means, I googled it didn't come up with anything. Good luck!
hey Margo! I can't see that it is a song, so that's what I"m trying to confirm. I can't find any evidence that a song by that name exists.
I also don't have any idea what "boogie drama" means...it seems silly~sounds like a 1970s soap opera. I always thought he was saying "boogie jammin" (with a Jamaican accent) but apparently I'm alone i thinking that.
I'm hoping someone can help me out with the song or reference. someone has gotta know what it is or what it means!

I always wondered what boogie drama meant, had no idea it was a song :)
