There's no reason to work for the man in this wonderful country of ours. Just met with my husbands , now my business partner to go over the details of the new company . He and my spouse ave been working on patents for sometime and he's has quite a few and other ventures and seeing how he has some free time now we decided upon our venture of passive income bringing in about 15 g a day to start. I'm gonna be busy doing the marketing portion since I have all the contacts until it gets going and off the ground and then well, fishing, writing a few songs.
ever wants to take your essentials and just check out on your current life. Pack your bags, get in the car, spin the bottle and ever look back? Some days i just want to do that. Take me and my cat and just take off to somewhere better then here.
I swear some days the ppl in my life are incessant about being assholes to me and then wonder why i want to leave for good. Just get a map out or google someplace and go there. Find a job, find a decent place to live and check out of my current life.
Perhaps i may be a bit crazy...but perhaps i might be the most sane person you know?

A Robin Hood pact with promoter Live Nation on ancillary coin might redefine the concert biz

Where I grew up, there were no rich people. No bankers, no rightwing titans ranting the poor were lazy and the government was taking all their hard-earned money. Some dads worked for the electric company, others sold insurance or held blue-collar jobs.
Ahmet and Waylon are dead. Gregg wouldn't or couldn't remember what happened that nite if you trained 3 assault rifles on him, and my experience with him was not different than any of thousands of others documented by now. Joe Walsh, the same. Got to see a lot of stuff. Lots of it remains vaulted because that is the professional standard if your private company caters parties, or if you are invited behind the scenes.
I got to see Walsh when he sobered up at a concert in FW , Tx downtown. You had to have tickets from the radio station and my husband and I walked up and I said dude I so didn't have time to go to the radio station to get my tickets and he waved me and my hubby through. We were dressed like tourists and the newspaper got our pictures and that was one of the best concerts .
Good. My Walsh story at the steakhouse next to the RI airport.....
Loved that band. Loved those guys. But, in a private banquet, Joey went face first into the bowl of "onion soup." NO ONE moved a muscle, except me, who happened to see it filling a bar tab. I ran and pulled him out by his hair. The rest of the table clapped in appreciation. Technically, if I didn't act he would be dead. Ask me about saving Gregg Allman...dare you, LOL! And, Ahmet, who hated that soup....
Please tell us about Gregg Allmen,.but please you may save that information if you will tell us just how and why you were in such a postion to do ither and know about Ahmet's soup prefrence?
Unhappily when driving around in his latest British Import or flying into town, Valle's Steakhouse could be seen when you taxied into the airport. Bleepin' HUGE restaurant which featured the all you can eat for $6.99 special. Not a bad deal, a soup, 1 lb of prime sirloin, 2 sides, a huge fresh salad, the best little breads, one King size Manhattan or Martini, and a dessert. Good food, ate it all the time. Ahmet dreaded us. Somewhat refined in his taste, ooooo, the look on his face when I handed him the menu. Already worked for he and wife on rented boat for a Newport Jazz Fest, and on the way back and forth, if they stayed there with friends, he stopped at our speciality grocery/catering place to pick up his papers and chat with me about what I liked lately. Which was silly because all he really ever wanted was to rave to you about jazz. He was a great guy. He liked Julia Child style French onion soup. Even though he knew from previous experience that Julia was not in the kitchen he HAD to order the onion soup from a can. I would put it down and he would moan. And moan. Until I'd remind him that is was exactly the same as the last one he had. Then he'd laugh and eat it up. He was so kind and nice to me, my Mom and my brother, as was his wife.
Ahmet and Misha lived for the Newport Jazz Festival, and luckily, the folks I worked for catered their rented yacht with me on it. But Gregg, bless his heart, was stuck with us during a 3 day snow storm. Great guy at 8 am, less as the day and his addictions progressed.

Hey Angel, you enjoy. So have you heard 'Get Out of Denver' in CO? If so, I'm jealous.

I hope those people don't mind their stories being told. Funny though, makes for a good story.
