Hey I am from ohio (toledo) ! visit cleveland for concerts quite often! just saw bruce springsteen in november in your rocking city! DAMN STRAIGHT I WILL BE ON CRUISE!! always wanted to go on cruise when fan club sent me info on kid rock cruise I KNEW this was my prime time to book my first cruise. I LOVE KID ROCK! never miss show in and around this area i have seen him about 8 times! never been disappointed! last few shows i have been lucky enough to get seats right in fromt of stage! it DOES NOT GET BETTER THAN THAT! a cruise filled with 24/7 rock and roll AND KID ROCK! HELL YES! be the time of my life! i will be in heaven. Plus we stop in grand cayman all day on my 52 BIRTHDAY! cannot ask for more! except maybe a hug and picture with THE MAN HIMSELF! i wont hold my breath and really think THAT WILL HAPPEN! but ya never know! i can fantasize about it though! look forward to hooking up with you on cruise. i have booked room nite before with THE GROUP! later debbie drafts/ toledo ohio

I know what you mean Mimi...I was the oldest of 4, and had many responsibilites having to be in charge while growing up too. I'm not an obsessive control freak, but am very organized, & like to know things are in order no doubt! My friend Arlene is very reliable & trustworthy, and she took care of booking our room at the Marriott...so I know all is well with her at the helm, haha.
If they do back out on you...check with me, because we're not definite yet on 4 in our room...me and Arlene are definite...but the other two not sure yet.
Thanks Connie Jo!!! I had posted on the Sixth Man board about sharing a room since I'm traveling alone and someone there offered to share their room. I followed up with her after learning the rooms were full and that's the route I'm going to go. Let me tell you, that is a big step of trust for me as I (yes I can admit it) have control issues and like to know everything is set and I don't have to depend on someone else. I've been self-sufficient and self-reliant my entire adult life. Hell I started being little momma and taking care of my sisters and brother at 12, when my parents divorced, so I guess I started just taking control of things then. So, HOPEFULLY they won't back out on me. If so, I guess I will deal with it then and then I will definately take you up on the invite to the party. I am so excited about meeting people from here!!!!!
Oh wow Mimi! I wasn't aware the Chillin Cruise block of rooms had already sold out too! In a way that's awesome...indicates one heck of a Kid Rock Hotel Party the day/night before, but...a bummer for those who didn't get booked in time. If there's enough people remaining without rooms, you might be able to arrange for a second block of rooms with that Marriot...or another hotel nearby...still attend the hotel party at the Marriot the night before.
Heck, you can attend the hotel party whether you're a guest there or not, as long as any one with a room there has invited you to join! Consider this my invitation to you...to join us Kid Rock fans already booked at the Marriott for the hotel party (ies). Many times there are individual room parties going on too, outside of the main party being planned.

I called to book a room a couple days ago and was told that block of rooms was all full. You could still get a room but not at the rate. I think the cheapest available rate was about $200.00.

Many are flying in the day before the ship leaves Tampa's port, April 28th. Sixthman's Website and forums related to the Chillin Cruise...have arranged a Kid Rock Cruisers group hotel rate with Marriott near the port...for those needing rooms the day/night of the 28th. A pre-party aka bon voyage party is being planned as well on the 28th, in coordination with Marriott from my understanding. There are suppose to be Marriott perks with this group reservation as well. Yes, I will most definitely be on the cruise! I've been a fan of Kid's since 2000, been to many concerts over the years, would'n't miss out on this one!! My friend & I booked the first day with my time slot & token. We chose Kid Rock & TBT's second show night, will be in Zone 2 in front of the stage. YEEHAW!

My son has a Polaris, but it's not a motorcycle...it's called a Razor, below is a pic of us after a night out driving it around the wood trails & backroads...having some fun, haha. Please do bring a Polaris shirt on the cruise!! :)

We plan on going down the day before but nothing solid yet. I go thru Lisbon often. We also know another lady with a viper but hers is yellow. She let me drive it . Was pretty thrilling

I visited Cleveland just this past August, while in nearby Canton to attend the NFL HOF Enshrinement for Derrick Thomas (RIP). Noting your avatar...we visited Cleveland Harley while there, bought some awesome shirts on sale! hahaha Never met a rude person from Ohio yet, though I'm sure they exist as with all places, haha. :)
Anyway, you might check my blog titled "Chillin The Most Cruise - Members List Going"...there were many who commented in that blog, but not sure if any are from Ohio.
