Hey guys, Whats up? Just wondering if anyone was gonna go to the show in Darien Lake NY?...July 14th.. I'm so excited!!!!!! I'm taking my daughter Jessica, she will be 15 at the end of June. Her 1st. concert.. My fiance is a litte pissed at me..lol.. cause just the 2 of us are going.. And we are going there Mon..Tues..(concert day) & coming back Wed. Oh well if he don't like it.. He claims not like Kid Rock so why would I buy him a Tix.. Right?... I hope there is a chance to meet up with Kid. My daughter would be beside herself.. What a cool thing to go back to school with in Sept. Some pics of her and Kid...54 days and counting :)

I've heard from everyone that the canadian side is better. But I don't think I have enough time to get passports.. If we can go over the border or not we'll take a ride over.. Thanks for your help..
hmmm not sure about your daughter, let me look in a bit for the border site with the regs. The enhanced license is available only in the states that border Canada, I think. They take the drivers license and add some form of chip to it I think. We haven't gotten ours yet because we usually only go to the American side, but Canadian has allot more things to do.
I've been though hell since the day I was born.. My dad was my defender and protector but he died when I was 13 and my mother made it clear all along that she never wanted me. My brother was her everything.. Old Italian .. so not only did I have my mother to deal with until she died in 98. I had a scumbag for a husband... I'm sorry to hear about your dad.. It is so sad... I feel for you... I'm very proud of my kids although they drive me crazy at times they are good.... How old is your daughter? maybe we could meet up before the concert if you want to...

O.K. enhanced driver's license.. Is that a reg drivers lic. What about my daughter she's turning 15 at the end of june. She doesnt have any ID??

geez rosaria sounds like you been put through some big time hell my daughter's father never had anything to do with her niether he even told me he wish she had died i put with up with his drugs/ and drinking off and on for ten years some men are scumbags im a single mom to ive tried to do a good job his parents were no help mine are great i miss my dad being around he died last month but things are looking up im glad things are better for you to great job you did with your kids congrats to them you should be very proud
Sorry I wasn't being nasty about it, there are some venues where you can at least get close to the buses, like Canandiagua, but Darien is locked up so tight with that stuff the Pope couldn't get in there if he wanted too, lol. Cameras are iffy, depends if the artist allows them or not and they are super strict on the smoking areas. Security is everywhere there, not that we listen to them ;)
Right now you need either a passport or an enhanced drivers license.

You are a funny lady.... Your son sounds like a sweety... I to am a single mother part time father. Even though my kids father is alive and well he is the ultimate scumbag. I was married to that abusing,drunk,drug addict for 13 years. & because I don't want anything to do with him he don't bother with my kids. He has 2 new kids now. don't get me started... I've done a great job raising my kids and they make me proud. My daughter is being inducted into the Jr. honor society on Thurs nite. She won the united states academic acheivement award. My son Is an awsome basketball player as well as an an awsome soccoer player, He is the capt. of the academic challenge team for our school. etc. I did this all on my own. Their grandfather was and is no help. & my fiance well that is another story.

Glad know that there are some member's going. I don't live in a bubble though I live in reality.. If its meant to be it will if not than not.. that's how I roll. I've had to much shit my whole life to expect anything good to happen. This way if something good does happen I know I truly appreciate it. :)
We are going along with our neighbors and a few friends from Canada. I live about 15 minutes from the venue and its gonna be a blast. Hate to burst your bubble on meeting him but the lake is really tight on security, buses are behind a gate and wall and even those that work security are told they can go behind stage to see if the band needs anything then have to leave the back immediately.

OH YEA ......she will have a blast and you guys can bond,,,yea if your old man don't wanna go give him 20.00 tell him to go to a strip club cause yall are going to see a kick ass concert............beleive me if you are fortunate to go do it .i told my 6 year old that we couldn,t go to bama jam...........man,,, it broke his heart he chose that over disney which we did both last year.....so water parks here we come and willie see ya at the wharf....orange beach......everyone but a couple bailed out on bama jam,,my own mom who was gonna drive has to work........and i don't have a babysitter aND would not ask anyone but my dad any way .....so my baby goes with me...........if any one knows of a bed and breakfast around enterprise...ill cook breakfast and clean,if we can stay one night..........my sis,, her husband just got back from iraq but they won't let him off, she has an almost 2 year old... so she has got to be home sun morn...coming down.....we damn sure don't wont to be lost at 11.00 at night trying to get home sat night............ we are still debating and playing the lotto...she went to bingo last night....i know shes like 21...hee hee....man after my son seen kid rock the 1st time he wanted to grow his hair long, get that tattoo,,he put a bunch of my rings on and his cowboy boots and his guitar and walks around the house singing constantly........he sings ring of fire in the funniest voice, he lowers his voice i don't know how......every thing he made in school had kid rock on it he saved it..of course because he sings not even the bad stuff, i have been to numerous parent conferences..........thats ok though he only has a few good role models thus far me and me, single mother part time father... and at this age they ask every question??????
