"About 10,000 fans braved the fierce weather to attend the Kid Rock show at Intrust Bank Arena...[t]hey had it easier than Rock's backing band, which had to drive in two blizzard-affected states. The band was in Tulsa on Monday, and there was concern they wouldn't arrive in time for the Wichita show.So when Kid Rock took the stage microphone to announce the band's late arrival, it was another indication Tuesday wasn't just another night in Wichita. Kid Rock told the audience that he and the band would piece together a set list, and their performance began around 9:45, after two opening acts and about half an hour later than expected. Well said Montana Anna. Only concert i got pissed about is the one i didn't see because i was in Vandberg County jail in Evansville! I was drunk, but there was no reason for me to get drug out of there and treated as i was. EVANSVILLE,IN is a shit hole. AND this is fair warning to anyone who attends a concert there and is unaware. IF you drink be careful as hell it is a nice little set up town! I was drunk as hell was shooting the shit with ppl around me. I HAVE NEVER RUN INTO A BUNCH OF PPL THAT WERE SO UNFRIENDLY IN MY LIFE! I asked the guy in front of me for the lighter i dropped so i could go smoke. About 5 minutes after that i was getting called over by the 2 that drug me...I ADMIT after the guy ignored me i cussed him but there is no way he could have heard me over the music,...but it is like geeze all i asked for was my lighter.
NEVER WILL I EVER ATTEND A CONCERT IN THAT TOWN AGAIN! They have no clue how much money they lost!NO FUCKING CLUE! I am kicking up soon now that my school ordeals are almost over and intend to hit as many shows as i want to see and can see!

OOOooo, Ajay, I can add to that list...you cross the border into NY state and New England venues, pls be cautious in how much and what you imbibe. The local people have been held hostage on the roads for years by every yahoo that comes flying out of those concerts. They are DONE. Look around...there will be State and local waiting for you at the access point to the road out of the lot. They will strip search you, dog sniff you car, blow your alcohol limit, handcuff you, put you in a van until it fills, and haul you off to court. They do not care if you come with kids. They have social workers waiting for them. Your sorry ass is going to jail...and it is gonna cost you a small fortune to get back on the road the next day. No coffee. You are forewarned. Look around. Unmarked cars, non uniform officers.

Good information to have....i doubt i will ever be there but who knows ya know? Would stay in the New York area more then likely. Most cities if you mind your own business and don't get out of hand ppl leave you alone as far as arresting for drinking. But then again i would want to be careful not to be seen as mark...so i probably wouldn't be my normal friendly self. In a large city that can get you set up and hurt and i am aware of that...

I got a serious question for you Tommy. WHY on earth did you pay $330 for front row seats? You got scalped and that wasn't by Kid Rock. If he came and delivered the show against the weather odds you are fortunate. Then to come here bitching it up about the opening band songs? Come on @ least they played and you didn't have to just sit there waiting in silence. Why didn't you make the most of it and shout out a request for one of his acoustic hits? I would have. Unplugged has been a rage @ times. Whole concert of just that. It is sometimes pretty awesome to hear a set stripped down to the basics!
HONESTLY you should have been thanking Kid Rock, Jamey, TBT and the whole crew for their effort to get to the show and not cancel. MOST acts would have cancelled the minute the truck was wrecked and said screw this. They would have loaded out and headed to the next show. I was pissed every time Ozzy cancelled for Scott Trade and didn't buy my ticket til the day of the show because of it. Wanted to make sure it didn't cancel. AND you wanna talk about cancellations....VAN HALEN is all i can say. They cancelled twice for Scott. After the second cancellation i said FUCK VAN HALEN>>> i will not waste my time on old DRUNK ASS EDDIE VAN HALEN....let somebody else buy his beer tonite!!!

That was like one of the worse snow storms we had out here and he still showed up and so did Jamey Johnson and they jammed together until the band got there-he did not cancel-I've been to other shows (other artists not Kid Rock with my kid up front seats that had to cancel cause of weather) and yeah it's disappointing but my God Kid Rock nor did Jamey Johnson cancel and I remember all that day very well for many reasons and why you want to start shit now for it-you just wait Dick Head this Sunday's Show is gonna blow your ass out of the water-I saw him at Sprint in KC-Fantastic show-so stop starting shit and let the party begin-it's an awesome show!!!!

James the band bus was trapped in a snow storm and traffic. You want Bob to rent a helicopter and go get the band? As a matter of fact, I think this is the show one of the semis had a accident. Tommy paid top dollar for that seat, and not through the fan club. You know how many seats I bought and never made the show? Bob and the band are damned if they do and damned if they don't. It's the middle of the winter in the Midwest. It's going to happen this year too. They cannot control the weather, they just do the best they can to make the gig. They have never cancelled a show, ever. That is an amazing record.
